Meh. It was decent. I wouldn't call it epic.

The kid isn't 11. He looks at least 13 or 14. And I have a friend who was playing Van Halen's "Eruption" after a year(ish) of guitar lessons. I'm not impressed.

You do know Eruption is actually super-easy to play, right?

*EDIT* FWIW, I wasn't impressed either. But then again, I'm all about passion. It's really not that impressive to learn a piece technically and then sit there with no expression playing it. I also don't like over-processed guitar.

I figured as much, haha. He's much better now, obviously, but Eruption seems more difficult than what the kid played. I don't play electric.
