Relient K-mmHmm, TFK-Welcome to the Masquerade, To Plant a Seed-WCAR, Underøath-They're Only Chasing Safety (seriously, I love this album). Attack of the Wolf King probably would be on it if I had it...

The Resistance - Muse
Dark Side of the Moon - Pink Floyd
I am not talking about T2 unless I am explicitly talking about T2. Also Mayhem is fine now somehow!

I got The Elephant Man's Alarm Clock by Buckethead for Christmas, and I haven't been able to stop listening to it since.

EDIT: Included a picture, since everyone else is.

Finally a trendy band that's actually popular for a good reason.

Pikerton, Tonites Music (Zoot Sims and Bob Brookmeyer), Ted Leo/Pharmacists - The Tyranny Of Distance and Shostakovitch's Jazz Stuff are also up there in the top albums for me.

Dream Theater's Octavarium is one of my favorite albums to listen to. There's so much interesting musically going on, and I love the journey the lyrics tell of. All the tracks work together as a fantastic whole, and there's always something to keep you at the edge of your seat.

Brave Saint Saturn's The Light of Things Hoped For is probably my favorite of the three, not least because of "Recall" and "Daylight" making a great album closer. Good musical talent and a great story.

Mewithoutyou's Brother, Sister was the only CD my car would play for a while, but it's an excellent one for it to be stuck on. The songwriter is wonderfully poetic, and the album's texture is exciting and dynamic.

A Perfect Circle's Thirteenth Step isn't one I expect to get tired of any time soon. You're transported into a frightening place - the mind of a struggling addict - and it plays out with appropriately hard, dark music and fascinatingly visual lyrics.

I'm not much of one for live albums, but Liver, Steve Taylor's live album, puts some nice spins on his biggest hits. The recordings of "Hero" and "The Finish Line" still get to me after dozens of listens.

Finally, Death Cab for Cutie really gets to me with Plans, one of my favorite CDs to listen to on a long, dark drive. The themes of togetherness and separation are expertly served up with thoughtful melodies and beautiful imagery.

I once thought that Postal Service's Give Up and Daft Punk's Discovery would never leave heavy rotation, but I have grown a little tired of them, sadly. They're solid albums, but I think I overdid them. The ones listed above, though, I don't think are overdoable.
