No really, they are mainly only used when a card called Abomination of Desolation is used.

they can be combined with demons, but not as effectively as Persians.

Greeks aren't good, they're actually evil because in the Bible the Greeks were... Oh. Wait. Perhaps I misunderstood the question. ;)

Greeks can be useful, typically as a splash with another defense, demons are a good example, but they can also be paired with certain offenses because as Nameless mentioned, Abomination of Desolation is a fairly powerful card that allows you to discard a card in opponent's territory whenever they draw cards outside of draw phase. This allows them to be paired well with a Samaritan offense that forces your opponent to draw cards quite often. It might take awhile to pull off but it's pretty sick once you get it going.

Greeks also do extremely well against FBTN offenses.  Antiochus is CBN, The Winged Leopard can band against Captain, Prince of Greece bands against straight FBTN, and Goat With Horn is 11/4 with CBP First Strike.  Those are the only Greeks worth playing (unless you have built your deck around Abom - which I don't even include in my Greek/Demon defenses), and they obviously work very well with more demons thrown in.  You'd be amazed how many battles I've won recently with Goat With Horn.  If you can get WS/Fallen Angel in battle first, well, that's even better.

True story. I used a recurred Goat with Horn on Goat with Horn for Name-on-Name Bonus to take down a Simeon->Auto->Moses band once. It was one of the greatest days of my (Redemption) life.
