More cheap decks

I like the $50 dollar decks.  I am working on similar ideas for similar reasons.

I've had some recent interest expressed by people in learning to play and getting their own deck but they don't want to put a lot of money into it.  I would also like to build multiple decks that we could sell at our store for 10-50 dollars.  My hope is that by making the initial entry more accessible, we can generate some more interest.

I have a pretty big pile of cards to work with.  The hardest cards to include are from Disciples, Texp, and Tin cards since that might involve buying new product.  The problem I'm having of course is that most current themes are based on cards from those sets.  Any ideas on how to deal with this or overcome this problem?  Suggestions on deck types to aim for?

I'd like some variety of decks that can showcase the strategic variety and fun of Redemption so that whatever a person likes, we have something for them.

I currently have, a Genesis/Romans hand control deck, a lower level FBTNB deck with site defense, a basic teal offense and pre Assyrian pale green defense, and a teal speed deck with a couple blocks for defense.  They could probably all use some work.

I know the hand control deck works pretty well and is fun to play.

ok, still hoping for some input.

I have now also built a Red offense and deck discard Egyptian defense and a Raiders Camp defense with a gold/green Exodus offense.  I've also got a Sadducee defense with no offense yet.

You could do some old school speed with a bunch of choose the blocker...
Armorbearer, Maharia, Claudia, ET, lots of draw threes, Obedience of Noah, Provisions, Lamenting Jephthah Daughter.

You could try a green/(insert any decent color) preblock ignore with Hidden Treasures.

Defenses tend to be a bit easier cause you basically just pick a color.  The problem with cheapo beginner decks is that to be competitive they need an offense that can actually win battles.  That's hard to do with very limited access to the newer cards.

Afterthought:  A heavy recursion oriented white offense might work well too.  Lost Coin Found, Moses and Elders, Elders of Jerusalem, Blessings, ACiB, Scarlet Line, Ignores, a convert or two.
Gates of Hell is by far the best card in the game.  No questions asked.

I'll put something together for you within a couple days.  I was thinking of doing Genesis, does that sound good to you?
...ellipses...
