I'm running a 2 good brigade,2 bad brigade for multi type 1. I have 4/5 characters per brigade. How many enhancements should I have per brigade?

I generally have a 1:1 character:enhancement ratio in balanced decks, but it really depends on the power of the character abilities vs enhancement abilities (and any support fortresses/artifacts) in the themes you're using.

I'd say it all depends on the theme. You'll need enhancement backup for those two.

Since some of the defense is stand-alone-ish characters you may not need to many enhancements but I'd consider forgotten history, confusion, and some capture cards.
