Genesis offense deck

OK, I admit I don't have time to peruse the forum for an answer, so I'm posting my question here. Is a Genesis offense deck a viable concept? Given some of the cards, I'm guessing you'd add a little silver (probably with NT angels to access the NT Only LS). I'm not asking if it's a Nationals deck, just a viable concept.

(I've been out of the loop so long, I have no idea what's being played these days-not that cutthroat competition was ever my M.O., but I can't for the life of me figure out how to make a "speed" or "site lockdown" deck. Heck, I was the impetus behind Redemption Retro, for pete's sake! I'm actually already trying to figure out how to write rules for a "Redemption Intermediate" category that I can play without my old head spinning! Yes, that's right, be very afraid...)

A Genesis offense won T1 2P at Nats 2008.

Genesis offenses can be super effective, although there are some cards now with the new set that stop a lot of its most powerful combos. (Darius' Decree stops Jacob -which makes Reuben's Torn Clothes much less effective, Kir stops Obedience of Noah, etc.)

If you play Genesis...play only Genesis. NT angels don't effect Benjamin but they will effect every other card that says (if every hero in play is Genesis). Zebulen is the best hero in a Genesis deck and he is neutralized completely if you have a non genesis hero in your territory. If you want an angel add Angel at Shur Promo. He works well with Genesis and is a Genesis Hero himself. But yes Genesis is very powerful!

Destroying Angel could be used, if you want  8)

Destroying Angel

Type: Hero Char. • Brigade: Silver • Ability: 8 / 5 • Class: None • Special Ability: Discard one site with a Genesis reference and all Evil Characters guarding it. Lost Soul is returned to general Land of Bondage. • Identifiers: Generic OT Male Angel • Verse: Genesis 19:13 •

maybe that way can use pleading for the city

Depends on your playing style, but stuff like that works, too.

Angel at Shur (P) is a great addition to a genesis deck.
