Emperor defense - how is it done?

I've looked through my cards, and I only have 5 emperors, which wouldn't be too bad, except that there's only 4-5 enh. that are decent that are actually NT.  I need some advice on what cards to put in.  Thanks!

My only emperors that I have are:
Galba
Otho
Tiberius
Caius Caligula
Augustus (I think I have him, but I can't seem to find him right now)

I also can't really put much money into buying cards.  So, what should I add to the ECs to make them better, and what enh. should I use?  Thanks!

Nero couldn't hold a weapon, so I preferred Galba most of the time. Hard to pull off Heavy Taxes (also known as The Best Enhancement In The Game) without Namaan's Chariot and Horses.

Here are some of the enhancements you should be using with emporers

Naaman's Chariot and horses
Heavy Taxes
Night raid
Chains
False peace
snare
Rome destroys Jerusalem
Deluge of Rain

I am using Rome destroys Jerusalem, but as far as the rest go, I'm only using N.T. enhancements because of Rome.

No, there aren't enough great NT enhancements to justify the use of Rome just stick with solid Grey

I think it's good enough for type 1.  Besides I have a type 2 gray defense which uses up my other gray enhancements anyway.
Also, my Roman deck isn't my main type 1 deck either.  Because of Rome, I can use any color enhancements other than orange as long as they're N.T. which was the whole point of the deck in the 1st place.

Way too many enhancements. Add in some site access and more dominants.

I might add site access but as for more dominants, they are used in more important decks.

As far as King David is concerned, I rarely ever face him and I don't tend to play type 1 in tournaments anyway.
