Type 2 Deck Building Ratios

As someone who has never played Type II before, I might try it sometime in future. (I may experiment with it on Lackey.) But other than the official deck building rules, is there a good ration of cards that would work in this kind of deck? (Like, how many heroes and evil characters would be good in a deck, and so on.)

Type 2 is a continual balance between being able to draw what you need and not clogging your hand with duplicates.

Good rules of thumb are to aim for 100 cards.

Your breakdown will vary based on what your play. If you run an ANB Reset you may have something like 40/40/20 Good/Evil/Neutral. A more balanced attack will aim more for 35/35/30. Do not forget that Convenants/Curses/Fortresses and Dominants all get added into the Good/Evil numbers.

Number of characters for a balanced approach typically are between 11-15. I try to end up on the high side of that (typically 14 or so). Try not run more than two of a unique character unless that character is vital to your play (say Captain of the Host in an ANB Reset) or is disposable (e.g., Uzzah).

Number of enhancements for a balanced approach is also going to be around 14 or so.  A nice breakdown is 4/4/3/3. Use more if you are character light, and fewer if you are character heavy or utilizing a deck that is based around a specific support card for an alignment (i.e., Dust and Ashes for a Job deck).
