If you were building a deck with a large offense and a small Assyrians defense (7-8 cards) what would you use?

Here's what I'd do.

8 Cards

Siege Army
Survivor
Assyrian Archer
The Rabsaris or King Tiglath

2k Horses
DoU
Forgotten History
Confusion

I would use a splash of Magicians if you have a little room.

Pretty much what Red Wing said. If you can afford an extra four card slots, drop The Rabsaris and add Astrologers, King Manny, Egyptian Magicians, Invoking Terror, and Charms.

I agree with RW although I would drop Pilesar for The Rabshakeh (so that you can play first against Sam) and replace confusion with The Rabshakeh Attacks.

I'd do Achan's Sin over Confusion.
