So while we're still discussing my other deck that I actually plan to use, I just thought I'd throw up this other deck that I enjoy using but that would not necessarily be my go-to option. I just like to fool around with it.

I'm not entirely sure what you should take out but you should consider putting in:

Wash Basin (work on the bottom as well as the top, also works well with VP [which should probably go in somewhere too] and then Given Over to Egypt, put their SoG or other good card under deck, put it on top with Wash Basin and then d/c it with Given Over to Egypt)

Gifts of the Magi (if you're gonna make them draw cards you might as well draw some yourself and while you're at it Hospitality of Martha wouldn't be a bad choice)

Rain Becomes Dust (because you don't want them drawing the cards before you can discard them)

Lies (you're kinda short on battle winners and I don't think it's safe just to rely on your sites, this is a battle winner and if combo'd with Gen. Widow and RBD it can be pretty sweet)

You could probably take out Lies but other than that I don't know for sure. Is Satan's Seat just for Simon the Zealot and the likes?

You might want to put in High Places for a quicker Pagan Sacrifice. I would switch Ashtaroth Worship out for Wonders Forgotten, since WF can remove the few recurable cards in their discard and is a battle winner.

If it were my deck, I would probably throw in a few more evil characters and drop a few good enhancements. Watchful Servant can get going pretty quick and is the best (Lay Down Your Life helps Martyr-proof him). I agree that Vain Philosophy should be in here - you could probably switch it in for NJ, since if Watchful servant can get 3 he can get 4. But that just how I've played it.

I don't know that High Places would be worth it for just one card though... Pagan Sacrifices isn't necessarily vital to the strategy. If anything you should take out Sing and Praise for Wonders Forgotten so you can remove their heroes still. More ECs is a good call too and Lay Down Your Life would be a good add or you could use Resurrection and/or Raising of Lazarus and you definitely should add Herod's Temple, I forgot about that before.
