The Everlasting Angel Party - 8th T1-2P 2018 Nationals

I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.” -Luke 15:7

I built this deck right after Nationals last year. It has been through multiple versions, typically varying in the defenses.

Deck:51

Heroes:11
Michael the Archangel
The Strong Angel
The Angel under the Oak
Servant Angel
Angel from the Sun
The Angel of Might
Angel of Revelation
Captain of the Host
Gabriel
Polycarp
Justin Martyr

Good Enhancements:7
Overcome!
Entertaining Angels
Everlasting Beings
The Second Seal
Angelic Guidance
Fifth Seal
Wheel Within a Wheel

DAC:1
War in Heaven

Evil Characters:10
The Judean Mediums
King Manessah
Red Dragon
Abaddon the Destroyer
Dragon's Minions
The Deciever
Messenger of Satan
Fallen Angel
King of Tyrus
Damsel with the Spirit of Divination

Evil Enhancements:1
The Wages of Sin

Neutrals/Covs/Fort:7
The Great White Throne
I am Creator
Covenant of Prayer
You Will Remain
Coliseum
Patmos
The Ends of the Earth

Lost Souls:7
Imitate
Awake
Lawless
Forsaken
Punisher
Wanderer
Darkness

Dominants:7
Son of God
The Second Coming
Angel of the Lord
Three Woes
Destruction of Nehustan
Strife
Christian Martyr

Reserve:10
Word of their Testimony
Blood of the Lamb
Michael's Sword
Gamaliel's Speech
Deafening Spirit
Blasphemies
Dragon's Wrath
King Rehoboam (DI)
Uzzah
The Gates of Hell

So basically the way that the deck works is that you want to create an angel "party" by banding to a large number of angels off of one of your banding enhancements. The party can easily draw between 5-7 cards while creating a fight by the numbers band that tosses all cannot be negated enhancements. All of this is cannot be interrupted, creating a deck that can compete with most Throne decks for card advantage. My defense is a Judean Mediums CBN demons band that is either CBN FBTN or CBN Protection off of Red Dragon. The deck only took two losses in the tournament, losing to Jay and Brian Jones. My other swiss loss was playing Kye Murphy using my Throne deck.

If I could change anything about the deck after nationals, I would take out Covenant of Prayer to play Gamaliel's Speech in main deck. I would also figure out a way to add Peter to make Gams' Speech CBN for use during a Captain Party.

First of all, deck is fantastic. Second, how much do you find yourself using Gabriel? I don't think I put him in battle a single time during Nats so if you have a similar experience that might be a way to get Peter in.

I would rather not take a hero out for Peter, but if I had to choose one it would be Gabriel because I didn't use him that much, although he did help me get a block by recurring War in Heaven.
