T2 fun but solid

Gold/gold re-done. Very fun to play. I think it needs some drawing to speed it up, but the offense comes out first turn and stays out. It needs CPx2, and another Nazareth. Those are currently decked so it's 100 cards.

14 Ls

Draid
Ends of the Earth
NJ

Nazareth
Golgotha x2
Herod's Dungeon x2

Unholy Writ x3
The Master's Table x3

Martha
The Woman at The Well x2
Good Samaritan x3
Sower x3
Lazarus x5

Faith as a Mustard Seed
Ambush the City x2
Kindness x2
Two Olive Branches x2
Meeting the Messiah x3
Battle Prayer (warriors) x3
Convincing Miracle x4

Herod's Temple

SoG
NJ
AotL
GoYS

Potiphar's Wife x2
Herod Phillip II X2
Salome x2
Herod Agrippa II x2
Archelaus x2
Herod the Great x2
Egyptian Charioteers x4

Herod's Treachery
Mask of Fear
Beheaded x2
Moses kills Egyptians x2
Egyptian Horses x2
Escape to Egypt x3
Wonders Forgotten x4

CM
Burial
FA
DoN

I know it lacks Grapes/Mayhem, they're decked. I will also be the first to tell you I have never used Herod's so any advice/suggestions I'm all ears. I know Herodias is not in there, is it worth to to add Herodias?

I would say Herodias is worth it just because of the fact that she's an NT human (for CP, Temple, etc), and since Herods don't have any generics, they kind of need all the diversity they can get. Salome is better, but as long as you already have two of her then 1 Herodias would be ok. I don't see you needing 2x Herod Phillip, since his ability only helps endgame anyway, so maybe take out one of him. Also, I like to use a Gold KoT or two, especially with Wonders Forgotten. Obviously, he's lost some mojo with the introduction of several CBP battle winners, but he still wins more battles than he loses.

Also, I see no Gifts...what's up with that? That would definitely speed things up. A Watchful Servant may help as well; sure you won't get to use his ignore too often, but you'll still have a Luke Hero with Good initiative that is protected from Writs and Charms. Lastly, I'm curious why you use 4x Convincing Miracle but no Repentance and Restitution, which is CBN by evil.

Hospitality of Martha would be a better choice than Two Olive Branches.

Why no SWJs?

I would drop Lazarus x2 and Sower x1 and then add The Generous Widow, Watchful Servant and The Thankful Leper.

Yeah I can take out a Herod Phillip for a Herodias.

I honestly don't own any of him, just the orange ones that why he's not in there.

I can add 2 Gifts, I just always have The Master's Table up, and I never run many artifacts. But I suppose some Gifts would help my drawing out.

The reason he is not in there is because I need the Sower's, and all my guys have great initiative.

Because the strategy of the deck requires to consistently recur hero's every turn. I don't really mind it being negated, I usually target my opponent's territory, die then Lazarus and do it all again.

They were in the first version. I should probably put them back in, not sure why I took them out...

The whole point of the deck is to attack twice first turn and consistently convert their guys while recurring every turn.

What do you do when you run into an Orange defense? Obviously those don't exist in Minnesota, but hypothetically speaking...you can't really afford to convert many of your ECs since Herods don't have any generic ECs.

If you used Repentance and Restitution, you could add David's Harp for the recursion part. That would also allow you to convert your own EC to trigger Master's Table and then you can attack with that converted EC and use David's Harp to get the EC back to an EC.

Just some thoughts...

Fall Like Lightning would be a good add for demons, although you can only have one.  But it can be recurred with Battle Prayer.

You could splash Eli (Gold version), Samuel, Judge's Seat, and Eli's Sound Advice, since both Eli and Samuel were judges and tabernacle priests. And maybe Ehud/Ehud's Dagger, since if they are playing Orange, 99.9% of the time they will have KoT in there.

Or you could splash Susanan/Jeiel/A Child Is Born x2, since you have no demons in your own defense.

And of course, Abom is a great way to discard anything with a Luke/John offense...

A very good point, as he faced a demon defence and had to convert his own guys in order use his Master's Table. I also do believe he started running out of EC's. My teal offence didnt even have to worry about how to kill with a heavy discard artillery against Herods Temple (which btw was supported with x3 Destructive Sin's- a good answer I feel to Herod Temple abuse as well as Thadd/Matt/James/John...ect. and on defence with orange.

Mr. Hiatus won 7-6 but i feel my deck is good for the meta and surprised me with how well it did because i was not expecting it to do so. This will be my second big deck for the current tourny year as Tyler got to experience the first one which promply delivered its not surprising victory to yet another victim. :)
was there any 7-0 victories tyler?

This is true and he did quite well with recurring Faith as a Musterd Seed with it also. note- consider fall like lightning...
This is the way Lackey gave it to me. All hail the power of Lackey!

I'm not really converting too many of my EC's for Master's Table. That is in their for my combo, and if they use a splash defense/EC's. If they run straight orange I recur Faith as a Mustard Seed a good bit, band/Ambush the City. Most orange defenses don't use a lot of enhancements so I usually just constantly attack, since I can get hero's back even without converting with The Convincing Miracle. But if orange was played heavily right now I would not make this deck, or play it. Since orange is riding the bench for the majority this season, I can play this deck.
