Samuel deck-type 2

My latest type 2 has a theme that I did not even mean to implement, Samuel. Most of my characters are from 1st or 2nd Samuel. It is Throne of David, with a small splash of TGT, sorry, and Philistines. The point is to play a CBN ignore with Throne out, or clear the way for my TGT ladies. The defense is based on getting a Philistine Garrison first turn and having him pretty much the entire game and be a thorn in the side for any player. Negate their battle winners that hurt him, Unholy Writ the CBN one's or Unknown Nation another in, and have Philistine Armorbearer's/Outposts to keep him out the entire time. The strategy behind the defense is make them waste their interrupt/cbn battle winners like I just said, with the addition of dominants, and then keep blocking with Garrison's. A couple Overwhelmed by Philistines and Wrath's and they should have nothing left. Activate HHI when Unknown Nation or Writ is not up, and your defense should hold the entire game.

I think you have enough Kings that you can afford to drop one to add Widow. Female, pre-block ignore ability and good for initiative to drop ignores or AoCs.

Probably switch out King Saul for Widow.

That was my thought as well.

Another thought I had is that you need a way to deal with Horse weapons otherwise your Throne becomes useless.

Coat of Mail and I am Grace would be the best options.

I thought of a way to get rid of WC enhs, but my ignores are interrupts, He Is Risen, Reach/AoC, so I am not too worried. If I play a deck that relies on their chariots, and uses 4-5 my offense will be slow to start, but I think I will have the upper hand later on.
