Correct, because if it didn't it would create an infinite loop.  That would be bad. ;)

Captain doesn't negate his own banding ability of course.  It's just that Jehoiada's Strength and Unified Kingdom only band to O.T. humans.

Okay, so there is actually a kind of "errata" for when the character being banded is fbtn? That's good to know.

As for your deck... it looks pretty good now. For what style you're playing, it's pretty flawless. I'd say have fun and don't make careless decisions.  ;D

so, if I banded all my teal heroes and TSA, would all the teal heroes stay in, or would it only be ET with ftbn?

If you did that it would be ET alone fighting by the numbers.  But how would you accomplish that?

If you played J's Strength on Josh the HP you can band to a FBTN human and keep all the characters in battle wince J's Strength CBN.

The thing that jumps at me most about this deck is that you only have 7 Heroes and no Chariot. You can't afford to wait around for your protection stuff (Z-Temple and Cov w/ Phinehas) since your defense is so light, but if you got hit with an early Plot or Wrath and lost a couple Heroes, I don't think you're going to recover in time before they walk through your small defense.

I also think you're better off with Twelve Finger Giant instead of Sabbath Breaker. Since you have nothing to play on Sabbath Breaker, it would be better to ensure that your Christian Martyr is good for a block with 12FG.
