LoC Throne

I decided to give the new LoC Throne a shot and see if it has any potential to be as strong as the old Throne, especially now that it was neutered by the Samuel ban. I recently played a game with this deck against CtheTree and recorded it for the YouTube channel I recently started called Redemption with Jayden, so check out the deck in action here. I might still tweak the deck here and there and play with it some more, but I just wanted it available with the video so let me know your thoughts!

I'm surprised to see Eternal Covenant over You Will Remain. I would also definitely try to fit in Unsuccessful with that many gray characters.

I figured since the offense relies pretty heavily on Isaiah, it would be better to have something to recur him. With the ideal attack of my kings being protected, You Will Remain wouldn't be all that helpful except against something like Unsuccessful. I definitely agree that Unsuccessful should be in here though. I'm thinking that should replace Magic Charms in Reserve since it's probably better than Charms with Profane Daughters anyway and can also be grabbed with Endless Treasures.

I see idols crushing this offense, really just characters that can consistently get back and activate Asherah Pole, but have you seen much of that this season? Actually, have anyone seen much of anything this season?  ;) I really like this offense. How did you feel about the X and search factor with only having 5 kings total and having to get out Throne, plus 5 kings? I have to switch my mind to t1 and realize top 5 and grab one is not bad at all, but I would still rather have that band with a dx on each every block, especially since your primary rescue is with that band. There's a few solid battle winners that still have some drawing, or just solid battle winners in general overall if your offensive band can not get around an Asherah Pole or similar. Purging Idols off Throne is nice, and against Ash Pole you would be able to play it first as well, this offense just misses out on the draw portion, maybe the draw triggers off Solomon, I am not sure. Royal Parade, Valley of Salt are obvious choices. I like Marriage Covenant or Josiah's Covenant in the Reserve over Oath of Purity, looks to be a little bit more versatility on who you can play those cards on, especially Marriage Cov. Either way, solid deck and I enjoyed the video.

Yeah, that's kinda what I was thinking during that game that Asherah Pole would definitely make things tough for the offense, but King Saul and Jehoshaphat still get around it so it wouldn't be too bad. That's still 13/14 of CBN protected Heroes. I should probably be more worried about a demon defense with Red Dragon and KoT since I played against one of those recently with a different deck and realized they're still pretty good. For Throne, the old one might be worth it, but it's nice to grab David quickly so I get things rolling right away. I think the offense makes up for the lack of drawing with all its searching, but with all the search counters being played it might be good to sub in some drawing. I'll test it out at some point and maybe make another video for it. Lemme know if you wanna get a game in sometime and maybe you can be the guinea pig. :P
