Aww, Flare is banned?! :(Yeah, MKC and I were talking last night and we deemed that best because I'm hoping people will try all sorts of decks rather than everyone playing hunter for Flare to foil their opponent's Secrets.
I'm in.Excellent! What's your BattleTag so I can add it to the first post for reference?
Hooray for freeze mage. Yeah that is my absolute least favorite deck to play against, so I'm sitting this one out.Sorry to hear that. I'll be doing a different theme for the next tournament so feel free to check back then. :P
I also would like to see the option of a player being able to ban a Hero from the opponent before the match starts.

For a casual tournament like this, I think this is a bad idea. I don't have the time, money, or skill in Arena to invest in more than one Hero, and the one I'm using right now isn't even completed yet, despite having played Hearthstone fairly regularly since March. If someone bans my choice Hero, I'm left playing a basic no cost deck. Really, it's not even worth it to me to enter the tournament if that rule is put in place because I'll just get slaughtered the moment my opponent chooses my Hero to ban. I think that that is going to benefit people like you and Blake who can consistently run free Arenas, and the rest of us will be severely disadvantaged because of it.
Are we removing the legendary restriction? For this month yes. There are plenty of useful decks that don't use legendaries that people with smaller collections should still be able to make competitive decks. We'll see how it goes and evaluate again for the next one.
I'll hop in, why the heck not. :)Hooray!
I think you may have misinterpreted what we meant about switching decks. In normal tournaments the loser of a game switches to a different deck within the round, not between rounds. So in order to play a bo5 series, a person would need to register at least 3 decks to use for each round. Or maybe it was intentional for you to allow players to switch decks between rounds, I don't know. In that case the tournament structure is no different than last months.I think you're right, I did misunderstand. But, I didn't see any problems with the structure of last month so I see no reason not to use it again. :P
I won the series against Lambo 3-1.Actually, it was me, Lampy.

I'm confirming this game. Soulseeker is a great player! :)
Lawful kicked my butt to the next country, 3-0.
I'm going to have to drop out this round. Computer's getting fixed and I won't have one until the end of the week (if I'm lucky).Sorry to hear that, but thanks for letting me know. Good luck with your computer!
Sorry, I need to back out. I completely forgot about this, and I have that whole college deal now.Alrighty, thanks for letting me know. And good luck with college!
Soulseeker and I played our match and he beat me 3-2, though most of the games were pretty close. Each one came down to whether one or the other of us drew AoE, haha. All of the above is true. Good games and fun.
I'm not sure, to be honest. The interest in this one was less even at first and then a couple people had to drop out, with further people just not posting/updating anymore. The only reason I dropped out was because my computer broke. Definitely still interested.
I might do one in October or November. Thanks for your interest! :)
