Goliath kicks their hero out of battle, and if they have a Wall of Protection up they cannot place a new hero into battle because their wall stops the second part of Goliaths ability.

You can present a hero from hand. Can you not?

WoP states no character may be brought into battle by an opponent.  Goliath states player *may* present a new hero...so it seems that the rescuer is controlling that, so Goliath's second part can resolve...am I getting that right?

Even though it is your choose it is still Goliath's ability bringing them into battle therefore WoP protects yourself from adding a character in your territory.

I actually like the straight white over purple splash. If I did splash, I would do blue with Abe's Descendant, or silver.
