Title: T2 Heroless
Post by: Ironica on July 30, 2010, 10:28:45 PM
I know that the T1 version has been retired but I was wondering, has anyone tried a T2 heroless?  I know that you will need a lot of good cards to balance out the numbers but with all the TC enhancements and a few good forts/covs, do you think it would be possible (meaning have a decent chance of winning, not can it win nats)?

Last I checked, T1 heroless was still alive and kicking!

Far from it. I still use it. T2 heroless is fun though.

Do you use a lot of draw/searches GE in a T2 heroless?

Nope. Though I'm not an expert on it. Guardian knows more than I. T2 heroless was always funky for me.

i believe professor alstad could help you and i think he was the one who was "retiring" his heroless because it didn't work very well at NC Regionals if you were there...and by the way, RR, i don't think the Guardian ever made a T2 heroless or a T1 heroless for that matter.

I made a very strong type 2 heroless. I still have the decklist if you want me to post it.

How would a heroless T2 work?
do you just put tons of enhancements in for good cards or what?
you could theoretically have one or two priests that you make practically invincible...
but still... It just doesn't make sense!

It's some covenants, not a lot of fortresses, but mostly all battle winners. You use gray on defense with 3 Hidden Treasures and pre block ignores/interrupts/ battle winners. The rest of the enhancements are Built on the Rock/Healing cards. My last version used 5 Ananias of Damascus and I had a Paul going by turn 2-3 every game.
