No Burial?
Have you thought about the new Patience to potentially get back Paul's Disciples every turn? Or is Nazareth too problematic?
Goodness might be nice to get around ending the battle...
-
No Peter (Clay) to (A) heal your other clay heroes (Including Paul) if they die in battle and (B) use TGT?

Goodness might be nice to get around ending the battle...
Burial was an oversight from this originally being a T1 deck. Probably drop an EE for that (though I could also see an argument for dropping DoN or FA since I want to have Lampstand up most of the time anyway).
I have been seeing alot of Nazareth in T2 games I've played recently. I think with 3 copies of Paul's Disciples and Herod's Temple, I should be able to keep Paul around. And really I don't need Paul every turn...once all of their ECs (that are in play) are set aside, then it's just a matter of walking in for freebies with TSA or TGT Ladies. As long as I've done the initial damage with Paul, I'm not worried too much about going a few turns without him if he somehow gets taken out.
I might have to try and find a spot for Goodness, more so for the ability to negate a protection Fort like Gates of Jerusalem or protection card like Wolves in Sheep's Clothes than the end the battle ability.

If Peter can walk in for a freebie (with no support), then that means my TGT ladies can do the same thing. I'd put in another copy of Paul's Disciples before I added Peter.

Paul + Treasures + He Is Risen... got it!
Not gonna lie I feel like the guy at the comedy club that laughs 5 minutes after that punch line :)
I love that this is just a solid deck all around, combo or no combo. One way to get the instant use of TGT would be to throw Reassuring Angels or Angelic Visitor in (banded in by He Is Risen) to exchange for Peter or John. Obviously with the current Prophet splash your offense would be spread too thin for this, but I can see a more purple-centric TGT deck enjoying that perk.
Gabriel pulling back Spiritual Warfare is nice too, Hidden Treasures should get some good mileage in this deck.

If they exchanged to territory, I would definitely be using one or both of them.
The other issue is that I expect Golgotha will see more play. While I could use Benedictus, I'm not as much counting on the ignore winning me battles, (especially since I'm using what could be the most popular defense myself), but more just the fact that they will have very few options once I set aside the majority of their defense.

Whats the play if they place Widows of Joppa stopping your Sorrow of Mary's?
You could use Prison to negate protect abilities.
-
The Sorrows aren't super vital to this deck. Widows doesn't protect against Urim and Thummim so I still get to look at their hand when I need to. I can also use Night Raid or Stoning to capture/discard a Widows if they are really causing problems.
Prison is a good suggestion...I might have to find a spot for that.
