Opinions on OT vs NT Michael

I have a T2 MP deck that includes two copies of Michael. I am trying to decide the best strategy in terms of using the NT Angel Wars version or the OT Kings version.

Some things to consider:

*NT can rescue NT LS, which is great for MP where it shows up a lot.

*I have two copies of Asherah Pole in the deck because some of my best defensive stoppers are not CBN. I am not using Angel's Sword since it is MP and I don't want to wait for Michael+Angel's Sword+Battle Winner so I am using Striking Herods, which don't work as well if I have APole active (and using the OT Michael). However, I could switch out one of copy of Asherah Pole for Golden Calf as a different way to combat FBTN attacks.

*I have Angel at Shur Promo in the deck which can search for an OT Male, which right now is most of my Heroes except for Michael and The Strong Angel.

*There is at least one player (identity to remain a secret) I regularly play against who uses Black in MP and has Simon the Magician lurking in his deck.

So, a couple things in favor of each version. Another option would be to go with one of each and take my chances that they show up when I need them to.

NT Michael. You made the right decision by saying you only have him and TSA as NT possibilities. You need at least 2 NT heroes imo. It's definately worth scrapping searchablility.

FWIW, I also have one Green NT Hero (Agabus--as the deck has an Angels/Prophets offense) in addition to the two Michaels and one Strong Angel. I was leaning towards one of each, but you think it's best to stick with NT x2?

Yeah. There would be nothing worse than searching for the OT one, and then having then opponent draw the NT soul, followed by your drawing the NT Michael. You can't beat NT access for Michael, since not too many Angels have it.

I would stick with two copies of the NT version.  Unless Simon really devastates you that much.  I would just attack that player differently, as the NT Michael will be more useful in more of your games, I would think from my own experience.

2x NT version without a doubt.  Really, if for no other reason than because Haman can't target him.

Well out of the two rounds I used that deck, I believe there was one time that I was able to go for a NT LS and one time where it would have helped to have the OT so I could have got him out of deck with Angel at Shur. Had I split them, who knows if it would worked out in my favor or totally against me. I definitely like the artwork on the OT one a lot more...

Why would you ever have Agabus instead of Saint Patrick? Is this a Windows deck?

IMO, it's better to have as much variety as possible, so I would go with one OT and one NT Michael.

I don't have any enhancements to use St. Patricks ability so it's better to have the smaller initiative character.
