2-player deck (Purple/Silver+Orange/Gold)

Before you look through the deck, there's a few things I'd like opinions on.

I originally had King of Tyrus (pt) x2 in the deck, but replaced them with Trembling Demons to go along with the idea of the defense. My thoughts while building this defense were focused on stopping such things as Garden Tomb, Michael+Angel's Sword, and most of the other common strategies.

To stop:

Garden Tomb - I have three Spreading Mildews to negate Garden Tomb, it's also for negating protection fortresses and others such as Storehouse or whatever else is needed. I've also got several generic characters that I can place in Kingdoms to stop it.

Michael+Angel's Sword - Most of my blocks will be with Trembling Demon/Uzzah, so his ability to play first won't matter. I've also got the Deceiving Spirits which can play my three Sinning Hands and Swift Horses+Wonders Forgotten.

CtB, AOC promo abuse - Kingdoms stops CtB, Golden Calf also helps with preventing Jacob to pre-block ignore and CtB. Since my defense is mostly auto-block, I can just drop a character from hand and stop a rescue attempt, so I won't be needing to place down characters.

I would also like your opinion on the offense. I would rather not play with Garden Tomb, since that is what most people are expecting. And a good Michael+Angel's Sword is quite hard to stop. If they have demons, I'll AOC them. I'm open to changing the offense completely if you convince me.  ;)

That looks like a good deck, I would say since your silver is going to work best against Humans anyway I would switch out your Defeating the Enemy for something like Spiritual Warfare (which you can play off a Cherubim ET band) and/or Fire, Smoke, and Sulfur.  You can use your AoCp to take care of any demons.

Yeah that was my original plan, was to let the AOCs take care of demons. But there's always that chance they block Michael from hand with a Demon and then completely tear me apart. So they're really just in there for safety, and I didn't want to overkill on the battlewinners. Considering people sometimes won't even try to block a Michael+Angel's Sword or Strong Angel.

9 Purple Heroes with 6 enhancements?  And only 3 are battle winners?  You should drop 2 purple heroes for more silver.  Also, NJ site has the "per game" restriction, so you can't use the 2nd copy if you use your first copy twice.

Woah, I never noticed that on New Jerusalem.  :P

Yeah, I could probably drop two purple heroes for more silver, what should I add in? I was thinking of dropping Defeating the Enemy x2, a Striking Herod, and a The Strong Angel. So that's 4 cards to add in, plus the 2 purple replacements, so I could change them to Captain of the Host x3 and Three Angels x3.

Don't worry, the other GA guys and I didn't realize it until two months ago either.

Yea, you can just beat demons by banding.  Also, The Second Seal would be a great add.  Bring in all of their ECs, and then play an AoC.  You might also consider using a couple copies of Gathering.

I would also drop a copy of Kingdoms for The Darkness, so you don't get caught having to d/c one.

Hmm, Second Seal would be nice. But I'm not a fan of Gathering in type-2 anymore, it's just not worth the 4 turns since there are so many ways to get rid of whoever I set aside.

And I still don't have a copy of The Darkness.  :P
