How are you going to use spreading mildew and set fire? I thought King Ahaz's SA only works in battle.

Ashdod

Personally, I think your defense seems like it would be annoying, but I don't see it really stopping much of anything. You have no way to recur JaH, so once you use it, your Pharisees just take up space. Overall it looks like a sitelock defense with only two sites. Any chance you could explain your thinking?

The offense looks like any other Genesis T2 offense, which has had mixed results from my limited experience in T2.

Yeah, I was doing this rushed while I was at school.  I also realized i left out all my Doms...but then again that may not be as big a deal in type 2 lol.

Yeah, Here is what I want to do.  Since I cant target their deck and d/c  their deck, I wanted to start targeting the hand since it is a pretty big choke point anyway.  My goal is to either eliminate the evil cards in their hand with IAH and Simeon or play jacob OON to get to a fairly quick win before my defense fails.

I want the High preists in there to look at the Opponents hand.  I also forgot to put fearfulness in this deck as well.  I splashed in phillies because there is not much that attacks fortresses in black/gray that can be played by saducees.

I dont like Set fire in this case (it only attacks OT) so I will probably remove them.

I think I will have to go for a straight sad/pharisee defense and forego the phillies and figure out another way around the forts.  Maybe Image of jealousy with a bit o brown splashed in (uzzah/gomer with Ahaz)

It still only targets OT Forts, but Besieged is a great add to a Sadducee defense. That way one of the 1/3 guys can bring in all the high-numbered HP's against even an FBTN guy, and once you band them in, you can get rid of an OT Fort (good or evil).

Heroes - 17
Jacob x3
Simeon x4- 4!?! No Zebulun?
Asher x2
Leah x3- I'd switch it for Rebekah or Sarah
Levi x2
Judah x1
Benjamin x2

Enhancements - 16
RTS x5
Answer to Prayer x4
OoN x4
Well Reopened x5- I would drop all 5 of these for 4 Buying Grain and another OoN.

The defense is fine, but I would try to work in False Peace x2 to get that JaH.

Reuben's Torn Clothes
I guess thats good news. I was wondering why he would use Raising the Saints without a yellow hero or Potter's Field.

Even with those, why would he be using Raising the Saints?

I thought that you could only have 5 of each card in a deck, in that case you couldn't have 10 babylons.

There isn't a limit on sites other than 1 site with a SA per 50, and # of sites cannot exceed # of LS in a deck.

Actual tripleplay is correct. There is a limit of 5 of any card in T2. So despite the ultra necropost, 10 Babylons is illegal.

Could I still have 6x Babylons in a T1 deck?

I believe: yes....5 max of any card is a T2 deck-building rule.

Based on the current rules, you can have 21 Babylons in a T1 deck, given that the deck is big enough.

My mistake then, I was extrapolating from T1 rules.

I played a season and a half with a T2 deck containing 12 Kir (the original non-SA Kir), and no one ever caught it. Until right before Regionals when Tim Maly was deck checking. I had to swap out my excess for five Egypt and two other yellow sites.

[Looks to the sky and raises his arms.]Maaaaaaaaaaaaaallllllllllllleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

Yeah, I did the same a few years back, ran 12 Kir's right up until natz. The problem with swapping in Egypt sites, is that on the off chance your opponent is using Egyptians, you just made his captures CBN if you draw one of your Egypt sites before he draws his.

Fortunately, no one plays Egyptians in T2 (except for Red'Rocks).
