Title: CTB K(ill)TB
Post by: Mr.Hiatus on August 31, 2009, 04:52:15 PM
I am sure someone has tried this, but with Asahel here it seems better, wanted to get some input.
This is just a basic outline

Asahel x4
Ehudx4
Soldier of Godx1
Seeker of the Lostx1
Other red banding heroes
Isralite Archersx5
Judgesx3

David's Mighty Menx5
Ehud's Daggerx5
Capturing Canaanx1
other stuffxwhatever

Basically you CTB with Asahel and choose a WC and play David's Mighty Men. Same with Ehud/Dagger.
Props to Eric for thinking of the Asahel/Mighty Men combo, I just put it with Ehud.

The problem becomes when they don't have any WC characters. and Wall still stops Asahel.

Fortresses aren't as safe as they once were...most defenses nowadays have at least one way to discard a Fort or render it useless.

With the Red in there, you can use multiple Spy and I am Patience to take care of non-WC ECs.

Excuse my ignorance, but what does "CTB" stand for?

The Woman at the Well would be an amazing addition.

Very true, you need women at the well... you could also throw in some repentence and restitution, which is cbn. Nice idea... I need to make more type II decks, lol.

The problem with this kind of deck would be if you played someone who did not have very many kings/wc dudes ;P

WOmen at the well does not go with the CTB theme.

Guardian already gave a great response to that problem.  I do however think you need to worry about demons.  At least three nails as an art couldn't hurt.  Maybe some Book of Gad the seer's for recursion and freedoms, Jael's nail to take care of those demons.

O Rly?

So, you don't wanna sift through their deck and pick out the EC you wanna CTB with later?

ok well THAT part works pretty well, but you have to waste a turn using her to set up the next rescue.

Waste? You can play a cbn on her, such as Ambush the City, then do the combo.

The Woman at the Well has a John 4 reference.  R&R has to be used by a Luke Hero. :P
