emperor vitellius or Sabbath breaker? discuss
-
Vitellius for sure. Most of the time they will draw similar amounts of cards but Vitellius has the potential to draw 9 cards at once, the draw can't be negated, and he can be used more than once. The only thing in favor of sabbath breaker is he is small enough to get initiative but decks will most likely have other ECs for that.

It really depends on what else you're using with them. If you actually have enhancements to play then I'd give the nod to Sabbath Breaker, but if you're just looking for that max draw potential and then using a dominant to block then Vittles is the way to go.
If you're trying to decide between using one or the other, it really begs the question: why not both? :P

Imo, the only reason for sabbath breaker over skittles is for inish. He get discarded after one block anyways. why not just throw NCaH on Skittles and it's a minimum d3, and play the first enh. seems better to me. plus, he's an emperor which is better than a generic OT grey character, just because he can play some really nice battle winners, like heavy taxes.

I only have room for one of them, its a Pharisee defense. I have lots of inish but not much numbers, and no naamans chariots and horses. thought switching to the emperor may at lease give me numbers to kill a moses/big angel, even if he dies, and maybe draw more.

If you really only have room for one, the nod probably goes to Vittles, but then I would for sure put SB in the Reserve and run The Deceiver and Darkness LS.

I'd go with Vitellius. Only I think he'd be better with The Terrifying Beast and Rome. SB seems to be more of a T2 EC.
