~ Go to ruling question's, and probably on the second or third page, Gabe posted a post with all of the disciples cards! After my bible class, or in the morning I can post a link for ya! ;)

I dont want to know all the disciples cards I want the purple brigade disciples used in most disciples decks

I don't understand what you're saying. Are you trying to build a Disciple/Roman deck?
-
I dont want to know all the disciples cards I want the purple brigade disciples used in most disciples decks
Here is a list of Disciples I have seen in almost every Disciples offense I have played against:
James, son of Zebedee
John
Matthew
Thomas
Philip
Bartholomew
Thaddeus
James, son of Alphaeus
Simon the Zealot (purple/red)
Peter (red)
Andrew (red)
-
In short, all of them. :P Seriously, with Disciples you have to go all or nothing - that is, unless you don't plan on using Thaddeus, which is little short of idiotic if you already have enough disciples in your offense to be calling it a disciples offense in the first place.

See this thread (http://www.cactusgamedesign.com/message_boards/index.php?topic=23088.0) for an example of a Disciples offense. In addition, some people use My Lord and My God, Sent Two by Two, and Sons of Thunder, all Purple Enhancements from Disciples. Others throw in a few red enhancements for Peter, Andrew, and Simon. It all depends on how big or small your defense is. Romans is usually a pretty big defense, which wouldn't really fit well with Disciples, which is a pretty big offense.

OK thanks guys now I need to know the cards used in most Roman decks.

Read the story.

so is an apostle the same as a disciple?
-
no
-
so is an apostle the same as a disciple?
He was one of Christ disciples but not in the 12 so I consider him a disciple but not a apostle.
-
Does anyone know what goes in a Roman deck?
-
so is an apostle the same as a disciple?
I would say he is an Apostle.
-
Does anyone know what goes in a Roman deck?
Romans, typically.

Thanks for your help but I was kinda lookin for a newer deck because of the new roman cards.
-
so what you do is take a backbone like the lists above and improve them with any cards that can strengthen the defenses ability to block such as:
Washing Hands (Di)
Type: Evil Enh. • Brigade: Gray • Ability: None • Class: None • Special Ability: Discard an evil card from your hand to return up to two N.T. Lost Souls to the top of deck. If no weapon is in battle, withdraw your Roman Evil Characters. • Identifiers: None • Verse: Matthew 27:24 • Availability: Disciples booster packs ()
this card has great potential (especially in type 2 with rescuer's choice). In type one its a little more difficult. One idea would be to create someway to not draw lost souls- like susanna or take away access like site or SA lost souls (first rounder, female, ect.). That way, when they attack they are limited to the lost souls they can rescue.
the only problem with Romans at the moment is Nero discards roman sites (Golgotha) and Simeon the Zealot (a highly played card at the moment) discards Rome. Of course, I would rather face StZ in battle b4 MaddeusThaddeus anyday.
