The offense is nearly unblockable, though perhaps not fast enough. The Defense is based around rendering AotL and up to 3 battle-winners useless, then trolling with WS+TD or one of the hulks. Every time I've loaded this up in RTS to test opening hands, I've gotten at least one way to win a few battles (TSA or Captian, Elishana and Jehoshaphat, AotL) and either no/few souls or some defense. What do you think?
-
Are you missing some defense?
-
There should be 3 more cards in there to equal 56. I'm guessing they're orange ones that RTS dropped, as he's using Seven Sons and Gates.
I do agree, though, that there's some major firepower on the offense.
-
why melch over zechariah? isnt balance nigh-useless because your deck is offense heavy?
-
Fixed, that should be all the cards now.

Melch can use a truckload of my battle-winners, is Protected from Capture, and can utilize TToD. Zechariah is just a Teal Z-Temple Priest who can Discard with HT and can't use Burning Incense unless Altar is also active.
If I can clock just a Protection Fort or an EC or two with Balance, it's worth it to me. Without it, I can only kill 4 EC's not counting AoCP. I also like to have something other than DoN that can save me from GiC.

Why is gates in that deck? Since your not really going to use the discarding aspect of it imo anouther orange demon or The Pit or Captured Ark would better serve the deck.
-
Gates+WS+TD = Nigh unstoppable, recurable block.
-
^This. In addition, Gates is one of the ways you can Negate a CBN battle-winner, which is what my Defense is supposed to do.
