I've always preferred Plague of Frogs to Swords into Plowshares since PoF gets around immunity, so maybe try subbing those for a game or two and see how it works for you?

Queen Tahpenes seems an odd choice to include in a Herod defense, may I ask why you include her?

I assume Disbelieving Sadducees is in there to be banded to, but there's probably something better for that slot (like Destruction of Nehushtan, Harvest Time, or Mayhem).

I don't see Jordan Interrupted....?

Mostly for the chance of getting an extra evil character, which is very helpful (especially against decks with a thin defense)

I was also considering Z's temple there, but yes, it was for banding.

ANB!

Noted. (I love this card, but sometimes it works as much against you as for you. That's why it wasn't in there originally)

I assume you mean Herod's Dungeon, not Herod's Temple for your sites.

This deck needs Romans Destroy Jerusalem.  You have zero fortresses, zero NT heroes, lots of Roman ECs, and this deck will probably lose to White offenses.

Mask of Fear is a terrific enhancement.  I'd try to find room in the deck for it.

Herod Antipas may be more useful than Disbelieving Sadducees in this deck.

That would be right, edited.

No, he needs Z temple in there to protect most of his heros and make Josh awesome. Then you should add filling Z's temple if you do add RDJ cause then you can search your d/c pile for it.
