I have not seen many Sam decks posted on here, so I figured i would share mine. This deck has done very well, something like 13-1 and has won 3 tournaments. I am interested to see what everyone thinks of it because truthfully not much has been able to slow it down.

All 3 Davids? Is that truly necessary?

All 3 Davids? Is that truly necessary?
I have actually found them to be very useful. Having 3 allows Sam to speed through my deck when needed and i can play battle winners off of each of them.
-
Not the green one. I can't imagine finding him very useful.
-
Take out the green one for an evil King Saul.

He is a +3 with Sam and can play Provisions, Wheel Within a Wheel and Bravery of David. I had the evil King Saul in here, but he just wasn't as useful.
-
The evil King Saul is more useful than the good one. I might use it instead of TToD. Green David considerably speeds it up, you're right.
King Saul would allow another D2, and benefits King Amaziah. He's definitely useful.

The draw is good, but I still have a couple concerns with the evil King Saul. If I take out the good one, then my banding options are limited as King Amaziah would be my only warrior class purple King left. I need my red heroes to be able to band to my purple ones. Also, I would prefer to use King Amaziah with King Jehoash or Valley of Salt.

You may not want to lose your King Amaziah to King Jehoash. There is little advantage to having a W/C purple king in battle, considering Valley of Salt is the only enhancement that you couldn't already play off of who's already in battle, and TToD's play ability is irrelevant with Samuel in battle (and considering all of the searching and draw options, he WILL be in battle), and the draw is probably not as useful as Samuel's extra draw. Do what you will though.

I do agree that TToD hasn't really been that useful, however, I am not sure what to put in for it. I may look at the evil King Saul or maybe Gideon.

Try switching out some of your drawing for defense. Yeah, that should work.
With the two gold enhancements, Gideon might be a good idea.

Defense? You do know this is t1 and not t2, right? ;)
Gideon could play both those enhancements as well as use The Angel Under the Oak's protection for super Gid.

I had to check first, as a bulletproof 6/6 isn't that useful without enhancements, plus that's good endgame.

Stereotypical Sam deck. Powerful, fast and effective. I like I am creator because it makes the chances of getting out angel or sammy out first turn.

I like the idea of I Am Creator, but I decided to intentionally leave out artifacts. However, I can usually get to Sam in the first turn or two. I have found that people really focus on trying to kill Sam. The good thing is the deck really doesn't rely on him and that he is easy to get back if need be.

Why land Dispute, to take Nazareth?

Why land Dispute, to take Nazareth?
And probably CP.

Why land Dispute, to take Nazareth?
Land Dispute was the last and most important card imo that I added. I kept running into Gates of Samaria decks and was having problems with site access. The green characters helped, but not enough at times. Land Dispute allows me take their Samaria site, or whatever site I please, and use it for access or kill an annoying fortress.
-
you should change the title from Sam-I-Yam to Sam-I-Spam. ;)

That's the best suggestion in this whole topic. :rollin:

Samuel is green... how are you having trouble with green sites?

How does it put up any blocks? Do you just rely on the speed to pull everything and maybe a few Goliath Auto-blocks? And how will you be able to win so fast with the deversity in the splash?
-
I have 3 green characters, but they all are relatively low numbered and would be targeted for decrease/discard when I played Gates of Samaria defenses.

The Phillys and Doms are usually good for a couple blocks. The deck can be very fast if I need it to be. The speed helps get out what I need quickly so the different colors on offense really don't hurt too much.

Needs more dom cap. :P

I actually like the dom cap, even though I don't think it will change the game much. However, their is no point making a deck with anticipation of a ruling that could take months to go into effect. I will change it when/if the ruling ever comes.
