Brown, Idolaters, Persian Presidents, then you can also add in Great Mourning, Green offence for side battles, Take a hero prisoner, play Great mourning, thats 2 turns worth of blocks taken care of, and then of course Brown has all sorts of other goodies.

i would use herod aggripa 2 and peter. thats some stalling
you could also use the guy that captures a philistine and capture ittai (loophole :) ) and there are some other things i am forgetting... and the guy that i forgot about is assyrian anyways. just figure out little things like that.

If you're talking about King Asnapper capturing Pharaoh's Daughter and The Tartan capturing Ittai, I thought of that already. The great thing about this is almost no splash, save for Ittai. I don't want to put in Idolaters, because then I would have to put in Aaron, which would make for two cards that must be drawn to use a single one-turn combo. Same problem with Herod Agrippa 2 and Peter. As for Persian Presidents, there's an additional risk of Darius' Decree if I add Pentecost. Also, all of these would call for quite a few splash characters which I would be unable to use for any other purpose. This is not a problem as it is.

Oh, sorry I was talking go straight Brown for self capture.
Ittai is actually reall nice, and can't he band to King David in a pinch?

Yes he can!

I ran a deck with those same two self-captures last season and it worked quite well. Many of my opponents forgot that Ittai was a Philistine, including the national champion!  ;D I mean, everyone knows that national champions are supposed to know every minute detail of every card....  ::)

Ah, I see.

Yeah, but I tend to hesitate to do that in case of FbtN characters, because I don't have anything to play on him. :-\
