Title: offense?
Post by: xCaLeBx on March 22, 2010, 05:37:51 PM
ok I have my defense down to a science (Phillistine site lockout) and I'm super pleased with it but I can't figure out what offense to go with these are my choices I'm looking at:
TGT
Royals
Priest
OTHER???? (throw a thing out there)

my Phil offense is pretty darn large so I can't have a 20+ offense I'm trying to go around the 14-15 card range (not including a fort and doms)

Blue Genesis can still be potent with less cards since there is so much searching, CBN, and recursion.

TGT - for the most part requires defensive help, or delving into a second brigade.  In saying that, white/gold might work for you with gold's late game potency.

Royals - tend to be small but often lack punch (could be what you're looking for)

Priests - alone... COULD work  (priests/prophets would take too many slots though).  Probably utilize all the new'ish' banding with Z-Temple...

Judges seat - haven't tried it enough to offer a good opinion.  Seems like it might rely too much on that fort though...

Genesis - I think this is your best bet.  Has very good recursion, a late game character in Zebulun, and could even help your sitelock if you needed it to...

Prophets - straight up prophets might help protect from abom (an oft overlooked site killer) as well as being a somewhat small and decent offense.

Silver - with all the time you'll have you could utilize the powerful set-asides, IaH/Chamber, and Mike plus angel's sword... (could add the destroyer + ET + AoC combo)

And like redemptioncousin eluded to, make sure you include Genesis sites (which can be searched for as a "Genesis card") and Well Reopened.
