Title: Meta decks

It's been a while since I built a deck and I don't know what the current meta is. What should I go for in terms of fun playing style and possible competitiveness if I could make it to a tournament? (Even though I've never been to one.  :( )

Howdy scoobug. Which part of the southeast are you in again? Also, the current metagame is mainly speed aggro decks with a handful of more stable but slower balanced decks.

Northern Georgia, but I can't yet drive and thus could only attend a tournament if it was close enough, and it fit both my and my parent's schedules. Thanks for the help, I guess I'll try to build a fast deck with drawing and a small but solid defense

Oh, I was wrong then but I live in Gwinnett, so you're still two hours away.
