Title: Which LS to Use?
Post by: LukeChips on January 31, 2015, 01:25:07 PM
Which LS should I use for my Clay Jerusalem/Pharisees and Romans Deck should I use? The deck focuses on raiders camp as defense and clay synergy as offence. I have almost every LS that exists, even the TEC one. All advice is appreciated, thanks.
Right now it's like this:

*/4
Female only
N.T. only
1st round Protect
Revealer
Retribution (the TEC one)
CBP
Hopper

I would never make a deck without the Switch soul, I'd drop the */4 for that. The Revival soul (search discard for a hero) has been in all my decks, though you might not need it for clay. If you use Sites you should at least use the Deck Discard, even if it's only a couple Sites.

Are you using just hireling?

If not drop */4 for thorns IMO it's a must soul of your not using shuffling on defense.

Also
NT only out for Resurrection
1st R's protect four for the fool

Just my opinion but with the new SoG soul locking from dom's isn't really that good and honestly wasn't that great anyways.

What about female only?

What's the thorns LS?

Lost Soul (II Samuel 23:6) (Thorns)

The anti-shuffle, exchange or under-deck LS

If that's the antiburial LS, I don't have one... :(

The Anti-Burial is a completely different one:  Lost Soul (Galatians 3:13) (Anti-Burial).  There is a reason I put the reference!   ;)

Ok, I will have to look it up on the wiki, I put it on my trade page.

Thorns is the soul that doesn't allow lost souls to be exchanged or shuffled.  It stops the wanderer, death of unrighteous, just a hireling, suicidal swine stampede.  There are other cards it stops but those are the main ones.

I feel like a lost soul that can help your offense while remaining on the table is awesome.  Again I wouldn't use it if your defense utilizes soul shuffling for blocks.

I'm going to use just a hireling, so thorns isn't the option for me.
