Genesis - advice appreciated!

So I built this deck by thinking about it for a week and throwing it together in half an hour. It did decently but not fantastic in a couple playtest games, but it definitely feels like it has potential. That said, I haven't played much blue before and I've always been terrible at cutting cards - any advice would be appreciated!

It's currently at 58 after a couple reactionary changes from playtesting, but I'd like to cut it down to 50.

The idea is that two-thirds of my offense pulls other stuff. Adam and Eve topdeck defense from Reserve, then pull humans from the top of deck; once the sites pull defense Noah shuffles them to pull more heroes, allowing them to search more defense (or, in the case of Babel, turn into a fort). Rainbow is exclusively a covenant here, but one that allows the Adam/Eve band to guarantee two humans. Often Obedience o Noah is left as a Forbidden Fruit target, though not always.

Oddly enough, with Noah, Adam+Eve, Abe+Lot, and the searches from all three sites, I felt like I set up very quickly without actually being fast. I often felt like I had most of my heroes without having battlewinners for them, relying on numbers and negates to win a lot of fights. Between AS2Ur, FAC and AD I feel pretty confident in the negates, but I ended up adding Deceit and Vengeance after the playtest because most of the time it felt like Lingering in Sodom was my only battlewinner.

I like the defense quite a bit; I'm sure there's better options out there but as a longtime fan of PG it feels good. DGRS? is used in battle most of the time, and 2kH is replayable with War, so negates are relatively good. Scattered is Scattered, and Shame is fantastic, especially if you can meet the CBI condition. Corrupt People lets you search for DoU and CE, and it combos well with Abe's Descendent.

Two cards that really impressed me were Namaah and Confused Languages. I'm seriously considering finding room for Overtaken specifically for Namaah - protection from multicolor heroes and doms is clutch, and with how many multicolor heroes are CBN, Overtaken would go really well with her.
This deck can play Confused Languages as either side, and I like it a LOT. Even if they aren't splashy, if you can get it while they're still setting up it can keep them from doing anything. Better TGT as a placed enhancement that works on either side? Yes please.

Any advice on what to trim? Any obvious inclusions that I missed? Opinions welcome!

Forgive me if this sounds brutal but this deck just looks all around bad..

It seems like your objective is to move to other objectives more so than rescue lost souls.

If you want to test it on Lackey I'd be glad to schedule a time for us to play - my advice will come from play test games. I can already easily see cards you are missing and strategies you aren't utilizing

I agree with KV to some extent though I rarely call a deck bad without actually seeing it played.  ;)

That being said, it doesn't do a whole of good to set up fast if what you set up can't win souls. This deck feels a bit like "Get everything out of the Reserve and worry about winning LS later" and although the defense looks pretty good, it's obviously not a lockout defense.

One thing I would say for sure is that Forbidden Fruit needs to be in the main deck...it's just too strong (especially since you can use it on defense in a pinch) to start in the Reserve.

Have you checked the REG?
Have you looked it up in ORCID?

Don't apologize, this is exactly what I'm looking for.

It seems like your objective is to move to other objectives more so than rescue lost souls.

I agree that this is a problem with the current build. What other directions would you suggest ro amend this? This seems like an issue that requires a deeper fix than simply running more battlewinners.

I agree, it's a great card, and recurring it is about 2/3 the reason I'm running Tree of Knowledge. That said, Tree grabs it from deck just as easily as reserve or discard, so I can definitely see swapping it back to main.

If you want to test it on Lackey I'd be glad to schedule a time for us to play - my advice will come from play test games. I can already easily see cards you are missing and strategies you aren't utilizing

That would be great - I'm not available until 6ish most nights, but I'd love any advice you can give. If you're willing to point me in the direction of some of the things I'm missing, we can make those playtest games more interesting
