I built this this morning, and, as always, my big trouble is cutting it down to size. This needs to be either 56 or 51 cards. Any suggestions? I'm trying to get Uzzah, and get back/another KoT and PotW.

Needs Job's Faith. Take protection Jerusalem because it dosent protect D&As, since it defaults to play. Captain's Sword, Angel's Sword, Inumerable, Demon behind the Idol, Tables of the Law, and Michael can all go. I'd put in Angel at Shur to search for Job, Striking Herod, The Gates of Hell, Holy of Holies, Trembling Demon, and Wandering Spirit. Also, Abes grown man kids is probably better than Jubilee.
-
I would have both Jubilee and Abe's Kids.

Be prepared to lose as soon as your opponent plays a Pale Green card. I know your Prot of J can chain an entire Assyrian defense, but all it takes is AA+ASA from hand to end your offensive viability, and straight Assyrian is much less common than Magicians with a chunk of Assyrians, so Prot of J isn't much of a silver bullet.

...Who plays assyrians? Meta prediction is everything in the bigger tournaments (the only ones that matter).
-
Assyrians are just viable enough to be at least a bit common in the regular meta.
-
The meta defense will be my signature, as always. Next in popularity will be Egyptians. Then Babylonians. If anybody else is playing, perhaps Assyrians could make the cut, but they certainly won't be at the top tables, from what I've seen of them.
-
Maybe not (though I think clever implementation with Prophets could push one or two top players to use them), but we're not talking about top tables right now, we're talking about the general meta. CBN site, artifact, or fortress discard is not something to be written off without some thought first, and at least a few people will view it that way. Keep in mind this is coming from someone who swore by Assyrians for a month or so, before realizing they're kinda bad and largely moving on.
-
Why are you two talking about Assyrians? 2 Assyrians does not an Assyrian defense make.

You'd need at least one other Assyrian to justify ASA in my opinion, and if you're adding Survivor (who I'd put in before Archer), you may as well add The Rabasaris (I probably butchered that spelling). Straight Assyrians can be relatively effective while still remaining small (8 cards).
