I am trying to build a fight by number deck and was wondering what cards typically made up this kind of deck.
This is what i have so far.
Dominates:
SoG
AoTL
NJ
HT
CM
Burial
Falling Away
Artifacts:
Holy Grail
Elijiah's Mantel
Curse: Captured Ark
Covenant: Green
Good Characters:
Captain of the Host (wa)
Strong Angel (wa)
Moses
Ira
Michael
Widow
Evil Characters:
Job's Wife
Sapphira
Foul Spirit
King of Tyrus (orange)
complainers
Spirit of Doubt
Red Dragon (G)
Mostly multicolored enhancements
-
Cards I would add to your deck are as follows:
Captured Ark
Complainers
Bennaniah
Shamhuth
Crown o Thorns
-
hmm... don't think i have any of those except crown of thorns, maybe shamhuth
maybe i have complainers- is that in a tin?
why crown of thorns?
dosen't that weaken my evil characters also...
-
Crown of Thorns makes it easier for your Heroes to break through your opponents defense.
Elijah's Mantle is another card that's often used in a pure FBTN offense.
Complainers is in FOOF tin IV.

If I were you, I would not suggest using a Fight By the Numbers defense, especially with an offense. I would use a single-color defense with a lot of battle winners, preferably with a good number of cannot be negated cards. For your offense I'd suggest:
Captain of the Host
The Strong Angel
Moses
Ira
Benaiah
for your fight by the numbers heroes. Do you have Warrior-class or non-warrior class versions of these characters? If you have the Kings versions I might consider adding some warrior-class banding characters (Israelite Archer, Heldai, Maharai), those can really be devastating to a defense with a FBTN hero banded in. A Purple Hero (probably Widow or Ethiopian Treasurer, or both) and Authority of Christ Promo is also a good addition if you have it. I see you have Holy Grail listed, that's a good card for this kind of offense. Jephthah can work similarly, though it's a bit more situational as you can't attack with a FBTN hero that same turn.
Maybe consider having a hero that discards Asherah Pole and/or Golden Calf. King Josiah and King Asa are the usual picks for Asherah Pole, and Hosea and Amos work well for Golden Calf. If you put in either Asa or Amos, I'd include Provisions, which is another great card for this offense. I'd use several good multi-color enhancements for numbers as well, maybe 3 or 4.
Do you have Guardian of your Souls? I'd suggest that in a deck like this.
You might want to consider adding something like I Am Creator, especially if you add Warrior-class banding heroes. Angel at Shur can have a similar use.

I have both the warriors and kings versions of those cards. I plan on using the warriors cards. I don't have Israel archers and i'm not sure about the others.
I don't have guardian- although I really want one.
I do have complainers from the tins, since I have all the tin sets.
Thanks for the advice!
More is welcomed!

These use only the warriors version of the cards, so there is not much banding - except on Defense where I have some extra humans like gomer and Lots wife for banding. Its weaknesses are anything that CBN, certain arts like Golden calf, holy of holies, Confusion of Mind, unholy writ, etc..
also there are not as many FBTN characters as I would like. I also use self in KOTW to get around Garden tomb.

This is my FBTN banding offense. basically you wait to attack until you get a banding chain to attatch to any of yor FBTN heros and then you pound them with the FBTN chain. On defense it is either a single color defense or (like this one) one that focuses on a few brigades and pulls out several battle winners in each brigade. I have two EC's that can play CBN enhancements ( as long as the conditions are met) which will help me against other FBTN offenses.
Anyway, these are just starts, they are so/so as decks go but if you want a start you can use these two as guidelines or aids.

Thanks Matt!
I added Captured Ark and we as the green covenant that allows you to convert an EC after end of battle to my deck this weekend and was almost able to beat Mark Underwood.

Any other suggestions?
