Is is possible to make an entire deck FBTN and if so what are good cards to put in it? It sounds like a cool idea and I like to try it. Thanks!

While it's possible to make an entire FBTN deck (and that was very popular long ago), it's better nowadays to make a deck that has both FBTN and banding, to increase the numbers.  Heroes like Ira, Beniniah (not sure of spelling) and CotH should be used to negate.

King of Tyrus, Foul Spirit, Job's Wife, Saphira, are all FBTN EC's.

Additionally, Midianite Attack and Shmi's Malicious Curse are FBTN enhancements.

A FbtN defense is generally pretty bad because Evil FbtN characters (except KoT) have pretty low abilities and not much that can band them in CBN. If you want to use a FbtN-like defense, your best bet is to run Manasseh with GoJ along with KoT, Foul Spirit and Balaam.

Another character is TSA.
TSA isn't as good in a FBTNB offense, because it's difficult to band him in.  The only Hero-based way is Israelite Archer.  Gathering also works, but takes four turns.

I use a FBtNB and TSA fits perfectly in the deck. If you do not have him then you run the risk of not having a FBTN hero out to band to.

MKC would probably be the person to ask, but I would include TSA in a FBTNB offense for sure.

TSA is included in a Fbtnb offense for the exact reason Nameless stated. The fact Archer is the only hero able to band to him is often negligible because TSA is quite capable of rescuing lost souls by himself, especially early game.

Fbtn defenses are doable, but not as effective as Fbtn offenses. However, Jds19410 did win a previous Nats using a Fbtn defense.

To be fair, he won Nats in 2005. It's a bit different now for defensive FBTN.

I'm pretty sure there's a statute of limitations for nats winning decks.  Even Greeson's deck would show its age in the current meta.

I wish this were true at a much faster rate. TGT still remains one of, if not the most, sacky decks ever.

If Cactus did more sets/year, then TGT would be long gone.  It'd also be long gone if we did set rotation.

My record at last Nats was basically 7-3 (2 timeout wins) with a numbers banding deck.  Not the best but I think pretty decent.

I don't have the decklist with me right now but I think it was 63 cards with mostly defense and 0 enhancements.

The defense included KoT, Job's Wife, Sapphira, Foul Spirit, and Balaam.  I then included as many CBN/CBI banding cards as possible - Gomer, Wandering Spirit, Spirit of Tempation, Mannaseh w GoJ, etc.  There are some more conditional CBN banding cards like King Rezin?, Nebuchadnezzer, some Egyptians, Assyrians, etc.  I went with Herodias and the Herod that CBN bands to a Saduccee with a large # Saduccee included.  I put in the 2 anti hero banding Herods.  I then included all the demons that band to a human or demon (Fallen Angel, Lying Spirit, etc) and Lot's Wife.  My evil character count was around 25.

You definitely want to include Gates of Hell, Unknown Nation, site guard lost soul with a couple multi sites.  In one version I even included High Places with the fortify site cards.

Because of size constraints, I ended up with a numbers/banding offence also.

Of course the meta is different this year and this is really hurt by some of the new cards - Cov with Death, Isaiah offense, etc.

If a FBTN defense is hard to use what is the best defense to accompany an entire FBTN offense?

Something fast. The standard standalone (KoT, Sabbath Breaker, Uzzah, Haman's Plot, Gomer, and Amalekite's Slave), Egyptians, or Pharisees will work.

You'll probably want Pharisees since a FbtN offense isn't particularly fast.

This is the phar defense I use currently in small decks:
Gray Evil Characters: 6
   Hard-Hearted Religious Leaders
   Pharisees
   Pontius Pilate/ Vitalius
   Proud Pharisee
   Sabbath Breaker
   The Entrapping Pharisees

Brown Evil Characters: 1
Uzzah-King Saul if paired with FBTNB

Multi-Color Evil Enhancements: 1
   Tenants Kill the Son (Gray/Black)

Gray Evil Enhancements: 4
   Balaam's Disobedience
   Gold Shield
   Night Raid
   Pretension

Personally, though I have never paired this with fbtnb, I think this defense works best with something faster than fbtnb as it takes more set up then something like wraith posted.

That seems awfully big for Pharisees. How does it work for you overall? Does it draw well and get enough blocks in? Also, no Scribe?

I really haven't played it much this year (its 3-1) but last year I played it more and it did surprisingly well. It draws nicely and can dish out a few block. I would hate to go much smaller though, I think that would sacrifice to much. But what have you seen in small pharisee defenses?

I just generally see the standard PP, EP, Scribe, and HHRL, then Balaam's Disobedience and a couple enhancements that aren't BD.

I won't comment since I don't think Pharisees are that strong anyway, that's just what I see most often.

Oh how right you are.  I would definitely include strong angel and CotH, even though archer is the only one who can band to them.  If you can pull them out, then they have larger numbers than the human FBTN characters.  Also, if you don't include the two angels, and they kill your two human FBTN characters, you're screwed.
