Title: Choose the Blocker still works!
Post by: sepjazzwarrior on January 17, 2019, 10:48:32 AM
So the idea is to give my opponent ec's with KoT, Canaan, and lots daughters and choose them to block.  I have Jehu to kill off the royals I choose to block and cov w/adam to force small ec's to block and kill them.  in testing it has done better than expected, but needs refining, would like to see more kill cards in defense and more speed (though it can move surprising fast when it wants to)

Deck: contains Auto, Wages, and envy
sepjazzwarrior: "surprisingly fast"
Uhuh, I'm sure that was a real surprise.  ;D

But to be actually helpful, Regrets, Scattered Sheep, and Seized by Rioters are all amazing and would fit well in this deck. Sisera could also be a good add to the reserve.

Asahel would be a pretty good fit as well I think.

all those cards were in the first draft of this but I could find room, what would you take out for any of these?  it feels wrong have 10 ec's but I never find myself with a full territory so I feel they are needed.  I only have 3-5 good enhancements.  could take out josh and captain, but if the CTB fails or they come out early then they win games. could take aout Jeph. daughters for asahel, but asahel cant choose the Canaanites I give my opponent

Honestly I think Asahel is more reliable (and more versatile with his banding) than trying to use the Deborah/Barak tricks.

How does Canaan get your Canaanite into your opponent's territory?  Give abilities default to hand unless the card specifies "give to opponent's territory".

Hmmm, didn't realize it worked like that, may have to replace canaan with canaan the cursed and put some more curses in the deck

Well, it used to work like you (and most other players) still think it works.  The problem is that when Give/Take were defined and codified in the REG recently, it made Canaan no longer work (except for territory destruction)
