Title: Best Shot
Post by: LordZardeck on March 18, 2012, 11:49:46 PM
   Lost Soul (site remove)
   Lost Souls (2-line)

   Aaron (Green/Teal)

This is a new deck, starting from scratch. Any advice on how to knock it down some? My original plan was to make it defense heavy, with a small offense, but I could see problems arising if I didn't draw through it fast enough.

What's the point in moses? Also, there's more than just KoT that three nails is for. I've been facing plenty of decks with other demons.

You already have Aaron to band to Moses. Aaron+Moses can really put a hurt on stand alone defenses. 3 Nails is to situational.

Aaron+Moses will take care of any Demons you may see.

I think you have too much going on.  You have Luke, Sam, and Isaiah going on at the same time.  I think one of those themes have got to go.  Personally I would take out the Isaiah stuff, that would give you a lot smaller deck, thereby speeding your deck up significantly.

I don't see Aaron + Moses defeating the ever popular gomer+KoT. I'd still have to have plenty of enhancements for the FBTN battle.

Any of AotL, Drawn Sword, ANB, Eli's Sound Advice or Forest Fire will give Aaron+Moses the win. If you're really that concerned about KoT, you can add Hoshea and change your Gomer for SoT.

I'm assuming ANB just for numbers? And you are right. I didn't notice the CBP on those cards

Also, Samaritan has a couple of good purposes. 1) it allows me to reuse kindess, and 2) makes Samaritan water jar the beast that it is. As for Resurrection, that's to retrieve my Samaritan or watchful servant if anything goes south. And another point: if i'm removing stalks of flax and complainers, wouldn't I want to get rid of Nazareth as that's the only point in having it?

You still have Rehoboam and Naz is just a great card in general.

Ok, we've elemenated 7 cards. I'd like to see if I can squeez 7 more out. I'm thinking it's quite possible that I could lower my offense that uses drawing so much maybe? If i have a smaller deck, i don't have as much need to draw, right?

No, your deck would be too slow as-is. I recommended an additional 7 cards already.

I will say his 3Nails pairs well with his preblock ignore of humans.

Cards in deck: 77
Lost Souls: 11

Lamb Dominants: 5
   Angel of the Lord
   Grapes of Wrath
Guardian Of Your Souls Lower Dom Cap
   New Jerusalem
   Son of God

Grim Reaper Dominants: 4
   Christian Martyr
Destruction of Nehushtan Lower Dom Cap
   Falling Away
   Mayhem

I must be missing something but why does he need to take those out if he has 11 souls?

Technically i would have had 9 ls, because he suggested to take out 2 ls. However, that still would allow me 9 doms so I don't get what that was for

I assumed you'd have maxed out your doms, as that's the only reason to run >56.
