Sites & Fortresses:
Bab Banquet Hall (for multi- in hopes that other players will use babylon sites/ lockout)
Darkness (more for multi- put a card like gomer/KOT/PotW/etc)

Artifacts:
Magic Charms (capture while i OR OTHERS are defending, especially for multi)
unholy writ (capture while i OR OTHERS are defending, especially for multi)
gifts of the magi (in hopes that opponent(s) are using speed decks with draw abilities)

Covenants & Curses:
Cov of noah (use when an opponent is defending against you OR SOMEONE ELSE and targets you, especially for multi)
Unsuccessful (use while i OR OTHERS are defending, especially for multi)

The offense is primarily fight by the numbers with banding.

example-
heldai-->abishai (ki)-->Asahel (tep)-->maharai (ki)-->helez (ki)-->Israelite Archer-->ira (ki)
(fight by the numbers, except weapon-class. the order can be changed easily, and the fbtn hero can be swapped with another)

or moses with cov. of moses

or jacob/captain band

The defense contains every strategy...

examples-
emperor nero (immune or use with a multi-color enh like Romans Destroy Jerusalem)
red dragon (immune or can be banded to with fallen angel)
nebuchadnezzer (search for zimri or great image, etc)
emperor otho (discard one of many NT EE or use Roman's Destroy Jerusalem)
king zimri (use great image or discard one of many multi-color EE)
enchanter (discard one of the many multi-color EE to return a hero to opponent's hand or use with magic charms)
astrologers (magic charms or great image)
7 sons of sceva (rejuvenate KOT, or combo with wandering--spirit of temptation--7 sons of sceva=KOT returns and enters battle)
spirit of temptation (bands or use with gates of hell)
KOT (standalone or bands or gates of hell)
wandering spirit (bands or gates of hell)
fallen angel (band with one of the generic demons, PotW, or Red Dragon)
PotW (standalone or gates or band to him)
gomer

Evil Enhancements:
great image (discard for zimri, use normally or with love of money)
pride before calamity (discard for enchanter, use normally or with love of money)
dance of death (use normally, or discard it for enchanter, otho or zimri)
love of money (use normally, or discard it for enchanter, otho or zimri)
lying unto God (use normally, or discard it for enchanter, otho or zimri)
Roman's destroy jerusalem (use with one of the 2 emperors, or discard it for enchanter, otho or zimri)
battering ram (easy to use with all the banding, or discard it for enchanter or zimri)



so far it has worked very well for me, and i almost always have at least one of each EC / GC on first draw

Usually 70 cards is too much in multi. not many use sites in multi unless it's for a combo and that doesn't really include babylons.

Hey, I played this deck! I would really stress cutting it down to at least 63 cards to get through it faster, adding a way to get around TGT besides RDJ, and adding in JT in case Wash Basin rocks you. ;) My advice for TGT is either IoJ, DS, or both; my red deck usually has no problem getting both of those in play, and it helps a ton against TGT.

thanks for the advise! btw- do you mean you have played against a similar deck, against me, or you played with a deck similar to this?

yea... i know. it's too much of a hassle pulling cards out in between multi and 2 player :P

I mean I played against this deck with my Disciples deck, at the Tourney 1 month ago. Ken was there, you were there, others*(5 or so) were there, and there's no place like home. :D

Here are some things I would add:
Haman's Plot for obvious reasons
Image of Jealousy for obvious reasons also
Passover and Unleavened Bread. It gains cbn status and gets rid of pesky characters
A soldier's prayer to recur it or get it when you need it
Brass serpant to heal your heroes
Destructive sin for obvious reason
Uzzah for obvious reasons

I've played decks like this..... the 1 chronicles/2 samuel band is amazing plus some texp/di thrown in and add some brown EC/EE from TexP/Di plus hamans gallows and hamans plot but I'd say it WILL NOT WORK past 56 IMHO

why would hating the light be a stretch?
it is one of the best multi enhancements anyway and it is territory-class definately useful for this deck.

I guess FBTN was waiting around for the right time to win Nationals. When I purchased Nathan Schiro's cards he had a deck put together with a Babs defense and an offense very similar to 'The Deck'.

Wow, thanks for mentioning Nathan Schiro.  You just brought back a lot of good memories from playing with him back then.  That was back when Brian Reid was still showing us the ropes :)
