Well, if you're still here I bet you'd love to hear more about how a Ruth offense is testing in LoC. In my best assessment it is a viable option for T1. It's not quite on par with the "Throne" decks that have dominated in recent years, or even with the new crowd favorite - flood survivors. But I'm sure we'll see some Ruth decks with varying levels of success after LoC releases.

Here's the deck I've had a great deal of fun testing. It's running at a lean 50 cards with a 10 card Reserve. LoC cards are marked with a *.

*Chronicles of the Kings
Three Woes
Angel of the Lord
Son of God
The Second Coming
Christian Martyr
*Doubt

I appreciate the fact time is taken to nudge Redemption in a direction rather than a complete push over the edge, hoping it works out. Awesome roll out of the test deck and I am eagerly awaiting the set release.

Godspeed,
Mike

There’s another Bethlehem in addition to the promo?

Yes, that * is not there by mistake. Seems a little strange that we'd print another Bethlehem already doesn't it?  o_O :dunno:

I promise you there is a perfectly good reason that will become clear when all is revealed.  8)

Well dang, maybe I need to switch the promo for my upcoming tournament to SoG instead of Bethlehem! :dunno:

I’m quite intrigued about the new Bethlehem as I really like the promo, especially the site side.

I don’t believe that this new Bethlehem makes the promo obsolete. They both serve a very different purpose. Kind of like the various versions of David.

Ah yes.
Sorry didn't realize it was posted that long ago....lol. I haven't been on the boards in quite some time. But anyway, maybe Naaman's CaH's would be a good replace for it. I want to run Ruth as well and am looking for some good suggestions. This one was pretty good. LoR had some good ideas as well!
