Officially leaving Magic and joining Redemption!
« on: October 12, 2020, 08:30:58 PM »
Speaking as a LONG TIME MTG player and tournament host, (and with the power of Christ a FORMER Magic player) there are always cycles for players. For Magic it is actually down to a 180 day cycle for just about everyone. Wizards has changed this up by introducing smaller new product more often to keep things fresh and by maintaining a rotation. Rob, the Elders, whomever has been involved in the recent changes (RoJ forward) have garnered attention from many gamers as well as ministers and students of God's word. The rise of my playgroup is a testament to that and the fact that there are no other sanctioned events happening for other games right now. We, the Redemption community, need to capitalize on that and make sure that our numbers hold even after/if the other TCGs return to sanctioned live events.

Very cool and exciting news for the development of Redemption. Thank you for starting a play group! We need more of those across the U.S.A.

I completely agree regarding the quality of the sets RoJ and onward. The new sets add so much depth to the game and make it immensely more enjoyable to play. The card design team is doing a really good job!
