I know the staples Charms, Manny, Divination, etc. but with the new set and all the dual-brigade magicians, I'm looking for different opinions on what a Magician Defense could look like.
Thanks for reading!

Magic Charms
Astrologers
Chaldeans
King Manasseh
Egyptian Magicians
Damsel w/ Spirit of Divination
User of Curious Arts
Invoking Terror
Death of Unrighteous
Divination
orange battle winners
crimson battle winners
p.green battle winners
gold battle winners
Maybe something like that? I've considered a Magician defense but never got around to building one.

I was thinking something like this....
Magic Charms
Astrologers
Chaldeans
King Manasseh
Egyptian Magicians
Damsel w/ Spirit of Divination
User of Curious Arts
Balaam
Uzzah maybe
Invoking Terror
Death of Unrighteous
Divination
2K Horsies
Belshazzar's Banquet
Sinning Hand
Destructive Sin to take of of tgt
Forgotten History
Magicians Snakes

That looks pretty good for a start. Destructive sin isn't necessary, and Achan's sin would be nice.

DS probably isnt needed, but I included it because I thought TGT could be problematic with all the dual- brigaders.

I don't think you'll see a lot of TGT with the New Set out.

It's still irresponsible to not include a counter to a card that basically ends you.
A good Magician defense will always include Balaam, Egyptian Magicians, Invoking Terror, Covenant with Death, Death of Unrighteous, Confusion, Manasseh, Forgotten History and Assyrian Survivor.
