Title: Trembling Demon
Post by: amelo on August 13, 2007, 03:00:38 PM
Here's how to use this orange guy in a really powerful way. Have Demonic Stronghold in your territory and with one of your demons, capture a hero. Now all your Demons gain 1/1, so Trembling Demon is a 1/4 ( therefore not discarded ). All you do is block with TD. The only way they can have initiative to play an enhancement is if their making a ra with a 1/1 hero or a 4/* or less hero, which isn't likely. Tough to stop plus it can be used over and over again instead of just once.

I don't like orange demons much, that just verifies it. I can see how Tartaros can be very happy with this demon around to suck other demons from it. Nice idea.

Actually, Trembling Demon is fine as-is. 0/3>1/4.

Trembling Demon doesn't die after battle anyway. If it had numbers of 3/0 it would, but it's 0/3. Having 0 attack doesn't kill you, having 0 defense does.

So in all reality, Demonic Stronghold is a bad idea, but if you leave it out Tartaros is still happy.  ;D Thanks Clock for catching that.

Actually, the point of that demon is to not let your opponent play an enhancement, wouldn't the demon just die because the hero's numbers were greater?

this is awesome I thought he would die as soon as the battle was over, but now that I know that is not the case he is awesome.

He would die after one battle because his numbers are lower

0/3+end the battle card vs. 3/3=Win for /3 (due to the orange one is 0/3)

Well, I think A Child Is Born cannot not be banned.

I have an Idea...why not use Crown of Thorns?  0/0 EC dude.  No way it can be stopped.  Er..would he die?  If he would then they really need to make a 0/4 EC.  ;) Then it would be 0/1.  Only way to stop that is to play 1/1 hero.  Rareley ever happens, though.

Either hold it in your hand until you enter battle (he won't decrease until after battle), or play Rescuers' Choice Experience Credit to make him a 1/1 after battle.

Nah, since all the 1/1 characters are O.T. just have Covenant of salt active.

DBTI is N.T.

Considering Cov of Salt deals with OT Heroes, I'm guessing he meant that all 1/1 Heroes are NT.

umm that's an unfamiliar abbreviation? I suppose its a RoA card?

DBTI meaning demon behind the idol?  If so, I don't see how that card applies as covenant of salt only effects heroes.

You all seem to have completely missed his point.

All the 1/1 heroes are O.T... so use Covenant of Salt to boost them up to 3/3, so you have instant initiative.

It's like Crown of Thorns in reverse!  Awesome!
