1) That's still a silly card name.
2) SSS already has a Play As? Has it even been officially released?
3) So you're turning SSS into Death of Unrighteous... okay, so?
-
Death of Unrighteous can't be infinitely recurred by a low-numbers block that can also be infinitely recurred.
Also, the double-instead chain would be the first of it's kind (Eden "insteads" your Demons to Discard, then Wandering Spirit "insteads" them to the bottom of your deck).
-
That's a silly card name. And where was Clift in playtesting?
-
But, since the demon wasn't removed, does the shuffle still happen?
-
Death of Unrighteous can't be infinitely recurred
How does SSS get infinitely recurred?
-
DBI.
-
DBI.
OK, so you're talking 2 turn recursion. Turn 1 (DBI puts it back on the bottom). Turn 2 (Evil Spawn gets it back in hand or battle).
-
Use Gathering of Demons and it's every turn.
-
arent both dbi and evil spawn orange?
-
Use Gathering of Demons and it's every turn.
Yeah, but now you're talking about about needing to add a grey EC (to play Gathering of Demons), needing some set up time (for that set aside to complete), and still you could only do it once, because the demon would lose that ability when they were sent to the bottom of the draw pile and reset (before being brought back out with GoH).
I'm not even saying that this whole idea would work to begin with. It is possible that it would be ruled that if your demon isn't actually removed (paying the cost) then you don't get to shuffle your LSs away (getting the benefit). I'm just saying that even if it did get ruled to work, I'm not overwhelmed by this combo.
-
arent both dbi and evil spawn orange?
Yes, but crimson Fallen Angel is not.
-
doesnt work- not paying the cost
-
Who ruled that? You are paying the cost, but then the cost is insteaded to be a discard cost.
-
depends on how you look at it. if every 'remove from the game' ability is insteaded to 'discard', then rfg's are effectively nullified, meaning there is no way possible to pay a cost of rfg. coe only insteads rfg; it doesnt instead the actual cost.

+1
If not, I am running COE in every deck because it negates RFG

Probably because you trust all of Pol's rulings ;)
