In one of my decks I currently have the three mainly used Priests set-asides in order to draw faster. Do you think it will be necessary to remove them in order to protect against Darius's Decree??? What would be some replacement cards to put in their place??? Provisions comes to mind b/c you are only risking one hero instead of all of them...
-
It depends what type of deck your using.
-
Hehehe... that's right teal speed decks. Run like little children in front of a lion. I know I'll be using Darius' Decree. Don't know how many people will put it in as a staple. It just depends on if you're willing to risk all your heroes. ;) Oh, and Kerith Revine if you're playing provisions.

If you are that worried about set asides and you have a free artifact slot in your deck (and don't need constant artifacts) put up Miraculous Handkerchiefs, it protects heroes in set aside
-
From discard? I thought it only delayed enhancements. That's pretty cool if it protects. Although I'd love to see someone think they are safe, when the opponent plays Don+Darius' Decree to wipe out all their heroes. ;D

Then they wasted DON and you ra with cof ;)

I'm addicted to the Priests set aside cards. They're amazing. I'm glad that a counter was finally made for them though as they are pretty OP.
Since I can't bring myself to stop using them I guess I'll have to put Joseph's Silver Cup in all my decks now. Activate JSC, set my dudes aside. I guess that only allows me to do it twice though...
If I want to recur them with Joiada then I guess MH is my best choice.
-
Ya it definitely limits what priests can do and slows down speed decks. ;D

Hilarious.

Well, if you need a JSC, I got four of them in my TeP packs. I know they are worth a lot to you, because of your addiction, but since you're a nice guy, I'll give them all to you for only $20.

That's mighty generous of ya, 'cept I got some TexP myself at Nationals. No shortage of JSC here. I'm hoping people see how useful it is so I can trade mine away.

Does discarding an artifact by its own special ability count as "deactivating" it? It doesn't seem like Joseph's Silver Cup would affect that situation.

Well, if they already have Darius' Decree up, you'd be foolish to set your guys aside. If they don't, you can activate JSC and set your guys aside. They can't activate it so you're safe.

Wouldn't Darius' Decree stop you from playing a set aside enhancement since its a good enhancement and your opponent doesn't have an evil character in their territory?

Valid point. Not only would it be foolish, it would be illegal.
