Post why you you think one is better than the other and GOOOO!
-
Why?
-
One's not "better" than another. We've got plenty of deck reviews on the forum, and almost no single cards. (All I can think of is the articles.)
-
Depends. A deck review is better if the deck is a characterless. A card review is better if it's the buckler.
-
I should own you with it at nats, being broadcast of course.
-
I definately think that a deck review is better, as young players can learn good combos, identify what is good and bad about a deck, and use some parts of a deck for their decks.

You are thinking of deck help threads aren't you? I personlly think that reading the boards you learn all you need about single cards. But as it seems me and you disagree on this issue.
-
For deck reviews, I did write out a few posts about the different styles of decks with their pros and cons a couple of years ago.
-
As for the op question, neither of them are "better" than the other one. Some learn one way while others learn another way
-
deck reviews are better. unless you can make cards into a cohesive deck, single cards are worthless.
-
If you are thinking of "New Card Ideas" card reviews I would say that the two subjects are equally tied. It is good to look over decks and think of new cards that may spark a few ideas for new printed cards.
-
They're different. Card reviews are more for almost-there players to fine-tune their understanding of how cards can work together. Deck reviews are for scrubs who need to acquire a basic concept of what a good deck should look like and why.
-
I think card reviews would be better if they focused on the texture and taste more, so that we could determine which cards go better with fish and which go better with chicken.`
-
I think both are good for different reasons. (something like what Pol said)
Deck reviews tell a lot about how to build deck and what works/what doesn't work for deck building
Card reviews can help players learn combos and ways to use cards together that could help with both deck building and playing (it doesn't help if you put 2 cards in your deck that work really well if you combine them in a certain way but you don't know how to do it)
Basically deck reviews are good for general deck building while card reviews are good for tweaking decks and strategy.
-
Individual card reviews are also useful for booster/sealed.
