Most unplayable Biblical Megastars

I wanna know what biblical megastars are unused/unplayable in redemption today?

Just a note by "biblical megastars" I mean the hero's/heroines who EVERYONE who has been to Sunday school knows about.

For instance in the NFL everyone has heard of Ray Lewis, Troy Polomalu, Payton Manning, Tom Brady.
In the NBA we all know Michael Jordan, Lebron James, Kobe Bryant
In Golf Tiger Woods, Arnold Palmer
In the NHL Wayne Gretski, Mario Lemiux
In Soccer Landon Donovan
In MLB Babe Ruth, Derek Jeter, Ty Cobb, Cy Young, Pete Rose

Anyways the first 4 I would be suggest would Daniel, Saul/Paul, Mary Mother of Jesus and Jeremiah.

I believe all of these characters should be more playable in redemption.
I get that the Daniel Promo is awesome but he doesn't fit in many decks.
Saul/Paul is good but the requirement for conversion and lack of protection makes him not worth the effort.
Mary is Jesus mom, nothing else needs to be said we all love our mom's if at the very least they gave us life.
Jeremiah is practically worthless even in a prophets deck.

If I had to pick 1 as the most unuseable it would have to be Saul/Paul. Any debate, other suggestion, or confirmation of these thoughts is welcomed.

Who do you think?

You make an excellent point. Daniel only works with other daniel heroes, who stink. Saul/Paul, if he said when converted REMAIN a hero for remainder of game even if removed from play, then he would be useful. Jeremiah needs nothing said. He is really, Really, REALLY dumb. Wholeheartedly agree on Mary.

HEY hey hey..... The others do not stink (Micheal, Gabriel, Abednego especially except the other two daniel angels...they really do stink.)
You can make a very good deck by just using daniels.

I'm surprised no one's mentioned Noah.

Other mega stars:

Moses: still very playable, after all these years.

David: now in more decks thanks to lots of help, and King David used to be a minor staple as well.

Goliath: definitely a popular choice.

Adam & Eve: Eve is an occasionally deck-worthy Genesis Hero, while Adam is never ever used.

Noah: unused except for that one weird deck Josh Kopp had.

Abraham and Isaac, unused. Jacob and Joseph, very nice!

Jonah, unused.

John, used. John the Baptist, I've never seen used but a little better NT Prophet support and he'll be on the table again.

Mary: how is Mary more usable than Paul? Mary does absolutely nothing.

There is cost just to make Paul a hero plus he never gets initiative

Mary adds to he is risen and can get initiative on occasion

Jeremiah is a mainstay of the most powerful (note: not best) offense available. Paul gets protection from Capture and effective protection from Discard. The Daniel Promo works in any Prophets deck and is a monster anti-Meta Hero.

How is Jeremiah a mainstay in a prophets deck? I've never seen him in anyone's prophets. . . Unless ur referring to a different deck.

Saul/Paul is vulnerable without help and requires extra cards just be a hero plus how does he get initiative

He's great in a Teal/Green deck. Stops Uzzah CBN, can use HT & Obadiah's Caves.

And so can every other prophet, that's not a very valid point. The only way Jer will be played is in a green teal deck and in that case he will not be the superstar of the deck anyways.

I agree with the above. Saul/Paul is best used in more defensive-heavy/strategy-based decks than certain themes, but he's certainly not unplayable. Any dual-color prophet that can use Hidden Treasures is far from unplayable; Jeremiah is just not as well-used because there are so many other prophets that are more popular in prophets decks. I thought that people had dispensed with the notion that Daniel wasn't useful; he is easily one of the top 5 (maybe 10) heroes in today's meta.

He's great in a Teal/Green deck. Stops Uzzah CBN, can use HT & Obadiah's Caves.

Technically Jeremiah can't use Obadiah's caves, since he negates it. But he does still stop Uzzah and chump blocks like Failed Objective and Bel's Banquet.

Saul/Paul is vulnerable without help and requires extra cards just be a hero plus how does he get initiative

Hidden Treasures. S/P can play any good enhancement off of Hidden Treasures, which makes him way good.

John the Baptist, I've never seen used but a little better NT Prophet support and he'll be on the table again.

John the Baptist was a key component of the T2-MP 2011 Nationals-winning deck.

As a Type 1 player who pays little attention to posted decklists of any sort, I haven't seen that. Cool that he's found a place though.

Am I missing something? Cause S/P CAN be discarded or captured. He is protected from poison only...

He's referring to Herod's Temple not Hidden Treasures in case you were wondering.

Herod's Temple, Hidden Treasures, Harvest Time, Herod's Treachery, we have too many cards with the initials HT

I think that the most unplayable stars in the game are some of the most recognizable names possible: Joshua, Ruth, Amos, Jonah, Zephaniah, Malachi, Mark, Luke, Timothy, Philemon, James (half bro of Jesus), and Jude are all just about  completely unusable.

Quote
Herod's Temple, Hidden Treasures, Harvest Time, Herod's Treachery, we have too many cards with the initials HT

"I use HT so I can rescue with Paul and use HT, and since I have HT the only way you can really hope to stop me is HT."

The worst part is that they are all used often enough that its easy to confuse. You wouldn't see FA or AotL get confused with Foolish Advice or Army of the Lord, for example.
