I realized this about a week after the set was finalized  8)

Err, I mean I uh...was testing this the whole time...not that great guys, no need to bother with this combo. Simon the Tanner is still a useless Hero... ::)

You weren't the only one (not me, someone else after testing was done too) and I am excited to see more people be innovative with old cards.

Simon is way better that love! imagine throwing down a bunch of faith ench then AOC! Thats pretty good! and such low numbers! bartimus will be come a very commonly played card in the future i believe.

without really thinking about it, you can use golgotha to get EEs to discard for some of the various abilities

For a moment Golgotha seemed like it would be good in an Antediluvian defense with Continuous Evil and Corrupt People, but those both trigger upon being attacked, so you can't insert Golgotha in between being attacked and triggering those two.  :P

Not sure if that's what's being talked about, but that did come up in playtesting.  8)

There is the fun ability to "mimic" your best enhancements you already played with Golgotha.
