Besides Tassals, what other ways can I stop capture with my genesis offense?
-
Obadiah's Caves will protect the only hero that really matters ;)

well my main strategy besides Zeb and Ben abuse is drawing and deck or hand destruction to hurt my opponent even more

Judah

Don't forget Covenant of Palestine. Says, "Play as an enhancement or an artifact. Return all Heroes in all lands of bondage to owners territories. Capture of heroes is prevented.

Judah
He only works after one has been captured, so he doesn't stop it from happening which is what I am trying to do.

Blue Tassels is a better option in general, since many capture abilities are CBN. For Genesis though, CoP might be the better option since Cupbearer is CBN.

I vote tassels since it stops soul gen and is a protect rather than a prevent.

In general I agree with you, but one of Genesis' strengths is extra soul gen, and with Covenant w/ Palestine, Joseph Before Pharaoh (played on Joe or Ben) and Cupbearer can both still manage to do their thing, while protecting you from Writ and Charms (the two most popular capture cards).

I hear you, but it's not like you can't deactivate Tassels when you need to do some soul generating yourself.
The only reason I have used Cov w/Palestine is if I am using captures on the defense. That way I can get lost souls out of my LoB if I need to. If you are going to use some Egyptian capture cards (of which there are a few) I would go with Cov w/Palestine.
