Title: Evil version of BotC?
Post by: Josh on May 30, 2019, 05:11:58 PM
Endless Treasures + Treacherous Land.

Both of these cards are similar to BotC in that they are an engine in and of themselves.  With the powerful reprinted curses, many of which are battlewinners if played as EEs, Endless Treasures is an amazing tutor that also rewards you with a D2.

Treacherous Land was really strong for me in playtesting, and its ability is the same as when I playtested.  I usually draw 6-8 cards with it if I get it down early.

The fact that these two cards have additional synergy is simply amazing:

1. Endless Treasures can activate a curse, which triggers Treacherous Land, allowing you to underdeck an evil card from Reserve.
2. Endless Treasures underdecks itself to prevent players from activating it too often.  Treacherous Land can let you draw the bottom card of deck when an opponent plays a mutli good card in battle or a Dom, getting ET right back into hand.

I'm going to be testing some decks that basically have most of the defense in the Reserve, to be fetched with these two cards and The Deceiver.

Offering your son is also a very good option for getting out endless Treasures if your deck gets shuffled.

Think about this guys pagan sailors to activate endless treasures to activate flying scroll to take their multi brigade character in battle! You don’t even need Jonah for that combo. Also another one! Nebby go for pagan sailors pagan sailors activates endless treasures then that’s activates going into captivity you have nebby in battle for your worrier class character! Plus both of those have a plus 2 advantage and they need to be able to negate last neutral card played! To get rid of any of those .

I am convinced that pagan sailors is the best character in the game currently. No doubt in my mind!

The problem with both of those combos is that they involve drawing Endless Treasures, putting it in your Art pile, and not activating it during your Prep Phase

I want my D2 now

That’s why you have offering your son, delivered, and Emmaus Road to get those two out.
